I liked how he still remembered some military "training" in an episode much later, after this happened, haha.

i loved vampire willow and vampire xander. They were in charge of themselves rather than being 'slayerettes'.

he was of actual use

i liked split/double xander because it proved to him that he has it in him to be more than the goofy best friend. i liked the military xander too cuz it was kinda hott, but i chose the double one cuz it shows some of that military stuff in one of his halves in a way.

I think this was the ultimate way to show the actor's talent in portraying completely different kind of a character. The Hyena Xander is also cool. Showed well Xander could be believably cool if he wanted to. But of course without being mean and rude. :P But yeah, I love the real Xander the best. ^^
