i was all well then just knock over he sign!

I thought, "Oh, goody, a new villain." But "well then" pretty much covers it. ;o)

I was wondering who he was when he knocked over the sign. When he went back to human face I was like, "Holy...he's hot."

And then I said Wicked! Awesome! Now we're getting somewhere! New villian YAY! lol

yeah me 2 when he went human faced i was like "yummy"

It definitely wasn't love at first sight. I thought he seemed like a lot of fun, I was glad that he and Buffy would have to face each other because I knew it would be entertaining if nothing else. I also thought he was pretty attractive for a blonde.

i was like whhhhhhhhhat who the hell is this, then after a while the scens of him and dru i was like oh eyah this is guna be good!!

But after i saw him in his human face, i took it back! I love now both vamp and human face!

I loved his intro- with the music and the car knocking over the sign. Very different from previous villains- I thought it was cool.

I was thrilled that we were getting what looked to be a big villain (I would later be told the correct term is "Big Bad") and just knocking over the sign, coming out with a swagger and then having an accent, along with the jacket, made me very happy.

I'm with you Debs, I think he looks good with or without vamp facage. Bumpies can be sexy.

well he wasn't in non-vamp form when i first saw him so i couldn't say hot, but as soon as he said his name i got excited cuz my friend told me about him and said he was awesome so i was excited when he came!

I knew who he was so I was prepared to like him and already thought he was hot. It was just nice to see him from the start.

I thought: HOT vamp he is so badass!

Lol, he was a favorite of mine right away; the car running over the sign, the awesome music in the backround, then the accent, and his relationship with Drusilla....he was completely new for the show. A big part of it I think was seeing a "modern" vamp--not just monsters in the dark---this guy had personality!

I don't think he's ugly. But his definitely unattractive for me. I thought "Damn those are some gaunt cheeks on that skinny face".

After watching though, he's one of my fave villains. He's kinda awesome. I'm not a fan of the late buffy stuff. So when he "becomes" good, I never really enjoyed/watched that.

I already knew who the character would be - watching BTVS for the first time many years after it'd first aired, I obviously recognised Spike. But I thought it was a cool entrance.
