To choose by season is so hard. I love Spike in all seasons. Anyway, going by season, in season two Spike is evil and cocky and lovable at the same time, but not yet fully fleshed out to the man he's going to become. I liked his best in five because it shows the continual struggle between the good man he's trying to be, and will eventually become, for Buffy and the evil man he used to be and still is at some level.

i like him evil and dru whipped, i hate him buffy whipped hes still good but i dislike the idea of him n bufy so i dont like that his haracter is totally bsoted wiht her, so i love him in 2 and 4 but more 2!

I love Spike early season 6. I always love Spike, there are so many sides to him. Another great Spike era is Angel season 5.

i have no idea coz i love spike all seasons but i like him in season 5 for the same as nika

I picked the last one cause I have a reason for all of them... and picking the last to me is saying he was the best all the way through. season 2 he was evil, funny and hot! season 4 he was funny and he's actually the only reason I can stand watching season 4... season 5 he was evolving into something more he was still evil, funny, hot but slowly became caring. season 6 he was sexy! Hot! Exotic, and caring. season 7 he was Hot! Exotic, Caring!, Sweet, funny, still a smart ass... he was still Spike!

lol, for me, Spike is the same amount of coolness throughout the whole show.

Love him in all seasons. Season 4 wow hello funny Spuffy moments. Buffy and Spike had there moments about killing each other but never done it. And Spike when he was chained up it all Buffy was toture him from blood. Buffy was like "Look at my poor neck all soft and exposed... Spike: Giles make her stop... Love that epsiode Something Blue. Like towards the end when the spell was broken . Spike & Buffy were disgusted. Buffy : Lips of Spike eww.. Spike Bloody Hell.

Season 5... whole lot of funny business the whole spying,stealing clothes. But in the episode Intervention not telling Glory about Dawn...Spike was brutal killed by her..Buffy was shocked that Spike never told Glory about Dawn.

Season 6 the most darkest season for them both. Spike all ready tasted the darkest within him. Just want to help Buffy deal the pain from her death. Making Buffy feel again. getting a soul for her and raped her. poor Spike & Buffy in this Season.

Season 7 Spike was acting like Angel when he got a soul. Feeling all the pain that he did to others. When all thoses times that Spike was torturing himself and "The First".Buffy helping him to deal the pain and suffering the same he did to her. When she was dead,Spike & Buffy had a lot of great and touching moments in this season

that is why it was hard for me chose from all the seasons that he was in.... Spike was a great character James Marsters did a great job being the badass vampire to a soulful vampire . Love him especially "Chosen" FYI it made me cry that Buffy lost her lover once more in the series.

i like him best when he has a soul, plus i liked his and buffy's relationship best in this season, they were so sweet. when he died, i cried for an hour straight, then i went back and watched some, and i started crying again whenever i saw him, in all i cried for about a hour and a half, i've never done that before when somebody dies. spike is special

I loved when he was all bad ass, and mysterious. it made him alot more sexy....than in any other season. And i loved his carefree attitude and he made me laugh alot in season 2

I like him in all seasons, but it was a tie between 2 & 5. Although I love Spuffy, Spike is cooler when he's not quite so whipped. Love him when he's all evil, but he's hilarious doing his creepy/stalker routine in S5.

I love him "neutered" and chained up in a bathtub!

season 2 FOR SURE!!!!!! he was so badass and hot! he acted like such a whiny baby in a lot of the other seasons but in season 2 he still knew how to kick ass and be bad and sexy! i think spike and buffy had an awesome hateful but so sexual relationship in season 2!! it was all just HOT! (especially spuffy in becoming part 2)

well now i am deciding... and i say he was great in all the seasons. he was funny, sweet and awesome all the time!!!
