I must say that of all the relationships that went on between both the Buffy and Angel shows, the best one was Angel and Spike.

Think about it they traveled together. they were each others male companions, and like every great couple they wanted to kill each other several times.

Spike: Never much cared for you, Liam, even when we were evil.

Spike: Fine.
Angel: Good.
[long pause]
Angel: There was one thing about you.
Spike: Really?
Angel: Yeah, I never told anybody about this, but I-I liked your poems.
