yes she makes some stupid decisions because of it but it the end you have to give buffy credit because she always comes through

i dont think she was "blinded by love" though i totally would understand why if she was...i love me some angel. hahaha. but seriously, she sent angel to hell (she thought she killed him) even after she realized that he was angel again, not angelus. if she was blinded by love im not sure that she would have done that.

Although you make a fair point Reese. Buffy was very much blinded by Angel and proved that when she left SD to try and gather herself. She killed him although she loved him beyond words because she had too, acathla would have taken them all to an early grave. Angel unfortunately being the key to shutting it or in respect to her on-going plan when she actually got into the fight, Angelus. Xander hadn't passed on the message from Willow that she was indeed; trying to re-soul him again and you can definitely tell how much it hurt when she repeated his exact words in S7, 5 years later. So do you really think if she’d have had time to think of an ultimate she’d still have chosen Angel’s death? I don't. She did what she had too.

I think when it comes to Angel she is holding onto a teenage first love, that feeling, it's hard to move on from you first love but i think she finally did

Maybe at first but as Buffy had the chance to grow up in the show and her life! She proved that she became more of a person that didn't need some one to make her happy!! But deep down inside she always knows she loves Angel but knows the curse is a reality for them both!!!

I think that Buffy remembers their romance a lot better than it actually was if that makes sense. She's very unrealistic about Angel because she WANTS him to be that "love of her life" guy. I think the way she feels about Spike is much more realistic because she fights it for so long and eventually can't deny it any longer.

Yes and no. She was before, when she was in High School. That's why Angel left town, to give them a chance to grow up.. both of them. Now, Buffy is this completly different person, and so is Angel. And if they end up together again (fingers crossed) they would be different couple..

I think to some extent, yes she is--but not completely. If Buffy was completely blinded by her love for Angel, then she never would have "understood" his leaving her in season 3. I, for one, don't entirely understand. I wish they were still together. I believe though that, one day, they will be.

No, she was able to kill him when it was necessary and in time she managed to move on.
Even though the scoobies gave her crap for some of her decisions when it came to Angel most of the time it wasn't her fault anyway and she always pulled through with those decisions.

A little bit. If she wasn't at least partially blinded, she wouldn't have gotten back together with him in season 3 because she'd have been able to admit that it wouldn't work long term. But as others have mentioned, she wasn't blinded enough to be unable to send him to Hell in Becoming.
