It just semms that when he is around Orihime he is so bout of it and that doesn't suite him at all. And when he is with Rukia he is calm and happy and they are great friends so that makes it a lot easier when coming down to getting to know each other and there interests.

Renji would try to kill Ichigo. Renji is tryin to become stronger and beat byakuya just cuz he took her as his sister. He'd go crazy if they were together. besides its IchiHime all the way!!

Does Ichigo cares for his image? You decide.
link Mizuiro asked whether Ichigo ever thought that mixing with Rukia would have set a negative impression about him and Rukia, he said that if he had cared what other people thought about him, he would have dyed his hair black long ago.
And in the next storybook(after Chad arc), Ichigo mentioned about his painstakingly kept image were ruined.

Rukia even wondered whether Ichigo had been creating an image for himself or not, because Ichigo told Mizuiro that he cared not for his image.
I think Ichigo to some extent was telling the truth about not caring his image. He had a clear conscience. He knew he was not a punk, though he looked like one, but he chose not to change his image (dye his hair). It was his image, so everybody else either take it or leave it. And to some extent, he was bothered about how people perceived him but did not initiate a 180 degrees change to make people accept him.

He just wanted to prove their perception about him was wrong, but did not desire for acceptance from them.
But when Kon took over Ichigo’s body and kissed Orihime and stupid Tatsuki, he freaked out, saying that kissing is a embarrassing thing, unlike Rukia who thought young people who have no moral, lock lips like saying hello. Ichigo yelled at her back and said kissing classmate is a big thing.

Does Ichigo consider Tatsuki his classmate or a childhood friend he grows up with? He said stupid Tatsuki and Inoue, didn’t he? Why did Kubo Tite made Ichigo said ‘stupid Tatsuki and Inoue’ and not ‘Tatsuki and Inoue’?
If Ichigo had a general teenage boy girl sensitivity issue, why can’t he mention ‘kissing a girl’ is a big thing? Unless,….. he was not being truthful with others, he had kept something a dark secret, for example he harbored a crush for a girl and he kept that secret by keeping an image on himself.

People would say that this is in contradiction because it just showed that Ichigo cared about his reputation, right? Personally I think this just implies that there is nothing wrong inside, Ichigo having a clear conscience inside, knows there is nothing between him and her but tries to avoid her because of a few reasons…..1)the rumors were becoming more and more ridiculous, 2) He doesn’t want to be in trouble because of her.

No-one. Orihime and Ichigo just wouldn't work... the evidence for it is throughout Bleach. Orihime likes/loves Ichigo and he just has no interest... he treats her like an acquaintance or friend he doesn't know very well, hence why he'll never go there. With Rukia its clearly different - they treat each other like best friends or siblings... also, can't see them ever getting together. Basically can't see Ichi being interested in relationships in the near future.
