I think this question is offensive... It's like asking do you like more: slim chicks or fat chicks! It's offensive to overweight girl. Obviously if your a guy you will choose a slim answer. This is just questioning beauty. Our world is going to hell.

I don't think it's offensive, vik. The question's being asked in a very specific scenario, and I don't think it has any bearing on the larger question of "slim vs. fat" among all women.

That being said, I chose the fat one. I've got two reasons. First of all, my god, those things are huge. They somehow found a way to outdo Rangiku for size, and frankly, I'm just shocked she doesn't have massive back problems. Second, thin women with big breasts aren't exactly anything new (i.e. Orihime, Rangiku). A fat shinigami with actual skills is. Ohmaeda is the only one that comes to mind, and he's kind of a goof, not really anyone worth noting. There are plenty of thin and capable characters in the anime, but she is the first plus-sized character with a large enough importance to really matter.

And by the way, as I guy, I'm frankly offended by your statement. "Obviously if your a guy you will choose a slim answer." That's a big assumption, and one far worse than the question itself. The only person assuming an answer in this question is you.

I agree with Whiteflame to an extent... Just because we happened to choose the slimmer version of the [anime] character... It doesn't mean that I advocate people being offensive to larger-sized girls. Anyway, I chose the slimmer version of Kirio, because taht was closer to how I thought she'd look before I ever saw her on Bleach... The idea I got when we learned, from the Past Arc, that she went to Squad One. Anyway, I honestly think you are blaming the wrong people, Vik. Perhaps you should take a look at skinny supermodels that do ads about how they slimmed down... In fact you could blame celebrities and that whole lifestyle for that problem, because they are the ones that advocate skinny over larger and they also treat larger sized people with contempt.

I'm not necessarily trying to get into an argument, but frankly, the idea that men simply choose slimmer women most often isn't always true. Vik might not have been trying to offend, but considering that she was trying to claim that this question is offensive and managed to include in her explanation a massive overgeneralization of male tastes in women isn't lost on me here. I don't think it's very fair to paint all men with the same brush.

Yeah, I know what you mean. About arguing, I know that you aren't trying to cause one, but they have been happening quite a lot on this club recently... Hence why I said so. But, I do agree that not all guys are like that. Personally, I don't do skinny women... I like it when women aren't skinny - that way you don't feel like you're going to snap them half when you hug them.
