Mandy does not like romance. The one time she feels something it's for a completely cold, snobby-looking guy (Piff), and her reaction is to have her HEART CUT OUT. This girl views love as weakness, and does not want any part of it. If she was ever to find a soulmate, they'd be much like her, but submissive. And then the world would be doomed.

As for Billy's views on the matter (told to Grim): "Mandy's not my girlfriend! She's just my FRIEND, who HAPPENS to be a girl, just like I HAPPEN to be a boy, and you HAPPEN to be a skeleton! It's the differences that make our planet so rich! So diverse and wonderful!"
