Light Yagami has a point... I agree killing is wrong, but sometimes (rarely though!) there are crimes that DESERVE capital punishment.

I'm actually on the fence for this one, but like I said earlier, some crimes deserve this kind of punishment.

I think when we kill the criminals, killing them is like a reward. I mean, Id rather die than spend my life in prison.

Well there's always that chance that one day they'll break out of prison. I think death would be better than having them here, where there's a chance of them breaking out and wreaking havoc again. Like, Hitler. :/ BUT I think before the death sentence, they should be given a chance to change. Maybe they will, but if they don't... :L

I think a lifetime of wasting away in prison, being branded as a criminal and ostrsized by society is enough punishment. Besides, if they die, then they are essentially set free. And I think torturing them and making them waste away their lives is a much more suitable solution.

Besides, they can do community service. No use wasting their strength and stuff. :P

^They're not,though. They get, like, five years of prison, and if they're good in jail, they're released earlier.

Wait, who is this? Coz usually in countries if you commit murder you get more than 5 years.

Also, what about does who didn't murder out of cold blood, but to defend themselves? I remember Emmy saying something about a woman who was convicted because she killed someone trying to rape her. What if she was wrongly sentenced to death?

What about people who were framed? Why should they pay with their lives for something they didn't do?

What about someone who murders an innocent person on the street, in front of many eyewitnesses, for no reason at all? Should they not be sentenced to death?

But death is not enough, I think. Okay, they have no life anymore, but no life is like better than a tororous life which is what guilty killers deserve. Suicidal people try to kill themselves, why? Because death sets you free. So basically the killer walks free. Which makes the whole purpose of death sentence redundant. :P (Sadist here, lolololol)
