Being a Woman Question

Is this normal?

When I'm on my period(like I am now) I bleed REALLY heavily, like ridiculously heavy and i'm in SO much pain right now. What does that mean? Btw I don't have any problems with my weight or anything, i'm really tiny and I eat properly.

I have the same issue as you, and I've consulted my doctor about it. If you're worried, you should see your doctor about it as well; there are different answers for different girls. Heavy periods just run in my family. Although I'm very much in shape, a heavy period has nothing to do with my weight. In your case, though, it may be a problem or just genetics. Doctor's guidance will help lots :) I'm sure you're perfectly fine, though! ;)

Every girl has her period differently. You could try taking some Midol; that might help with the pain.

I suffer from the same thing. I have PMDD, but there are other factors that are associated with it, other than heavy flow and painful cramps though.

It really doesn't matter how heavy your period is, cramps are horrible and painful either way. But the pain varies from person to person. You should try:
• taking ibuprofen, it's really good for cramps
• pomegranates they are really good with reducing boating
• try to stay away from soda and junk food
• put a hot towel our a heating pad in the lower part of your stomach (stay warm in general)
• drink water
Hope this helps, my cramps usually attack me during the first 2 days of my period but if you are worried that the pain might be something more severe tell your mom and/or doctor. Good Luck!!!
