Being a Woman Question

help?

Ok, I know your emotions go a little weird when you have your period. But even when I dont, I still feel emotionally weird. One bad thing happens & i get really mad, or depressed. And if one thing goes wrong i feel like crying. If this is just a long-term period-related thing, will it be for my entire life? Ive tried taking midol & stuff, but nothing helps.

It's normal to get mad or depressed or feel like crying when something goes wrong. It's not hormones, it's just being human. ;) Just let yourself feel what you're feeling, you shouldn't be ashamed or think that it's 'weird'. It's not related to your period, obviously, since you said it happens even when you're not on your period. Everybody goes through it, male and female. It might help to have someone to talk to or to write down your feelings in a journal instead of reaching for a bottle of midol. :) I hope that helps. Just expressing your feelings can be incredibly cathartic, in whatever way feels comfortable to you.

I heard that your metabolism is faster when you're on your period, so it's supposed to make up for the craving sweets.
