"Tori." Liam cried, finally catching up to Tori and Keira.

"Liam?" Tori asked.

"There's no easy way to say this so I'll just come right out with it." Liam said, and took a diamond ring out, he whispered something in her ear. Tori's eyes widened in happiness and shock.

"Oh, Liam." Tori said, "I... I can't. I'm just not ready."

Liam looked down sadly, "Are you sure that's what you want."

"Yes, I'm sorry." Tori said, "But my mind's telling me it's not a good idea to get married."

"But what does your heart say?" Liam asked. Keira rolled her eyes at the typical soap opera line. Something flirts always say.

"I don't know, it's beating too hard for me to hear." Tori said. Laughing nervously. Liam shook his head, and looked her in the eye.

"Listen harder." He whispered in her ear. Tori looked at Keira, seeking help from her friend. Keira shrugged, if she was Tori, she would of course send Liam away telling him to forget it, but obviously, her best-friend, Tori isn't very good at saying no.

Tori looked back to Liam's deep blue eyes, "Yes!" She finally said, hugging him. Keira, who wasn't into romance, walked out of the garden. She was sre they wanted to be alone.

"Keira!" Tori yelled.

"What?" She asked.

"My wedding is in a month, and I need someone to be my bridesmaid." Tori said.

"What does that have to do with m..." Keira looked at Tori's 'isn't it obvious' look, and immediately understood, "Ohh, you want me to your bridesmaid."

"Yes, you're my best-friend, and who would make a better bridesmaid than your best-friend." Tori said excitedly.

"Well, I don't know I've never been to a wedding, and it doesn't sound like something I would do." Keira said.

"You've never been to a wedding?" Tori asked.

"Hey, I've been busy!" Keira joked. Tori smiled, "And Liam... I don't know, the guy seems to be too much of a flirt."

"I'll give you ten dollars." Tori stated.

"Twenty." Keira said, "I need to pay Crider his last check."

"Fine, twenty dollars." Tori said.

"Sold. You guys are so easy to manipulate. Dance my little puppets hehehe ." Keira laughed. Tori smiled.

"Hey! I'm the irresponsible one who doesn't take anything seriously." Tori said.

"Well, you're not that person anymore, because you're getting married. So I shall take on the job." Keira said.

"No you're not, you're a popstar. You grow up quickly." Tori said. Her eyes' sparkle came back. Liam came behind Tori.

"Come on, Tori." He said, kissing her cheek. Keira looked away with the face that said 'Quit being so romantic, it's making me want to vomit.'

"Miss Keira," Keira's new manager, Jennifer Wu, yelled. Keira frowned her new manager was very strict, and was never satisfied. Jennifer had dark, glossy hair tied into a strict bun, and black almond shaped eyes. She had extremely pale skin, and wore a black top with a black leather jacket, and black skirt. She was very thin, and her expression was as sour as sour can be. In the back of Keira's mind, she knew what she wanted more than anything; She wanted Crider to be her manager again. Sure, he betrayed her, but Keira couldn't help but wonder if he was really all that bad. He just wanted one performance, and he wanted it so he could be a popstar. It wasn't his fault if you think about it.

"Miss Keira!" Jennifer Wu yelled.

"Hmm... What?" Keira asked.

"Your concert will start in an hour." Jennifer said.

"Oh, right. Bye, Tori." Keira said, hugging her.

With that Keira and Jennifer ran backstage. There Keira practiced her new song, 'Innocent.' It was made for Crider. She practiced her new moves. Soon it was time to go perform.

Keira looked at all the people in front of her. She sighed, and began to sing... her first performance without Crider.

When it was over she sighed, and fell on her bed. It was so exhausting. Jennifer had made her clean up the stage... and it was a very big stage.

"Crider would never do anything like that to me." Keira said. Keira tried to fall asleep, but it was impossible. Her head hurt to badly from all the screaming. She was already tired before the concert. Now she was tired and her head hurt, but she couldn't fall asleep. She got out of bed, and walked down the streets of Meribella, not caring about the rain pouring down. She lost herself in the thought of Crider actually being selfish, and greedy. It was still impossible to her. She wasn't looking in front of her, and absently bumped into a young man. She jumped back.

"Oh, sorry." She said looking at the young man.

"It's fine, I'm such a klutz sometimes." He said. Keira smiled at the man, she realized he was quite handsome. He had dark hair with indigo streaks in them, and had light blue eyes.

"Well, I- I'm Keira." Keira said.

"I'm Nathaniel." He said.

"Well, pleased to meet you Nathaniel." Keira said, throwing in some of the princess stuff she learned.

"Same here." He said. Keira smiled, and then noticed he was wearing a red and gold military suit. Why would he be wearing a military suit in the middle of Summer?

"Who are you?" Keira asked.

"I rather not talk about it." He said.

"Oh come on, can't be that bad." Keira said.

"I'm a popstar." He muttered.

"Oh, I am too." She whispered.

"Well, that explains the purple wig." He said. Keira smirked.

"Purple wigs are very popular." She said, "So what drove you away?"

"I don't know, I guess the over-obsessive fans, and the fact that it's just not the same anymore." Nathaniel said.

"Yeah, it used to be all about music." Keira said.

"So, you understand." Nathaniel said, "Finally someone who knows what It's like."

"Keira!" Jennifer yelled.

"What?" Keira asked.

"You are not supposed to leave your trailer." Jennifer said.

"Since when?" Keira asked.

"I put the knew rules in your room." Jennifer said.

"I better go." Keira told Nathanial.

"Well, bye Keira." Nathanial said.

"Bye Nathanial." Keira smiled at her friend while Jennifer pulled her away. Nathanial smiled to himself, and went the opposite way.

In the darkness of the shadows. Hidden in an alley, a man stood. His eyes burning with hatred. He walked after one of those two people, while hiding in the shadows. A knife in hand.

Call it a cliffhanger. I have introduced the villain, and Keira's love interest. Don't worry it'll get more interesting, and it'll get better. You'll have to deal with this for now though.
