When Avatar first came out in 2009, I went with my dad to see it in the theater in 3D, but we had to leave halfway through it because I started to get motion sickness, so I never got to experience the whole story. Yesterday, six years later, I finally sat down and watched the entire thing from beginning to end, and I have to say that it was one of the best film experiences that I have had my entire life. I'm a student writing my final dissertation on engaging multi-sensory film events and am planning on creating a hypothetical premiere style event for the release of Avatar 2 in 2016..

As fans of the films are there any elements that you feel you could picture at an event such as virtual reality headsets that allow you to be 'in' the film on Pandora, any particular smells/tastes or other things you think would enhance the Avatar film experience?

According to my research, Neytiri means something like "she earned the crown" and Jake means "substitute" Both are interesting as they relate to the story in some way. Jake takes his brother's place and then Tsu'tey's. Neytiri is a princess, earning it in some way that we don't know about. Maybe a tribe ritual or when she became a warrier by riding Zhe-Zhe.
