(The Scean Zuko's bedroom at the palace 7 years arter Sozin's Comit.) It was eight A.M. and Katara and Zuko were just waking up. Katara opened her eyes and looked around Zuko's room taking in the memory of what happened last night. "Good morning" Zuko said with a yawn. Katara still in his arms looked up and then ripped away from him. " So we did make love last night". Katara said. "Yeah" Zuko said in a dreamy way leaning to kiss her. Katara pulled away. "Oh no!". Katara said as she reached for a red robe and put it on. "What's wrong?" Zuko asked getting out of bed and putting on his robe. "What's wrong, What's wrong!!! Are you crazy?!?" Katara said. "What's wrong is that we made love last night." Katara said in a wishper as she picked up her ripped clothes. "And you ripped my clothes" she said still in shock. "Sorry." Well, my pants are in shreds too." Zuko said now holding Katara from behind. "Besides, It's not like we don't love each other" Zuko said. "Yeah but I still cheated on Aang and I still love him." Katara said "I thought you loved me" Zuko said. "I do, I love both of you and I don't want to hurt either of you" Katara said. "I understand" Zuko said kissing her on the cheeck. "Thank you" Katara said. "Zuko can we talk later tonight?" Katara asked. "Untill then lets pretend like it never happened", she countinued. "I can't do that" Zuko said. "Why not?" Katara asked. "Becuse it was the best night of my life, I love you Katara" Zuko said as he kissed her. "I love you too" Katara said holding his soft,warm hand to her face. "I have to go to my room before everyone wakes up and make it look like I slept there, I'll see you later tonight at Midnight sharp that way everyone will be slep and no one will her us talking" Katara said. "O.K." Zuko said kissing her one last time before she walked out the door with her ripped clothes."Zuko what if I'm pregnet?" Katara said right be for Toph walked silently up behind them. "Then I'll be there for you and the baby" Zuko said, holding her close. Then they notced Toph standing at the door. "Good morning" she said in a sarcastic way. "How long have you been standing there?" Katara asked. The whole time,and I heard everything last night too. What!?! Katara and Zuko said at once. "Yep but I won't tell anyone ,but for a price" She said rubbing her fingers together. "How much do you want?" Zuko asked. "I haven't decided yet, this is a big secret, I'll get back to you on that." She said walking to her room. "I'll See you two love birds around 10:30 A.M." She said closeing the door. To be contiued...

Acastus: How did you get involved with the show? Did you audition for Toph at the same time as Meng, or did the opportunity to play Toph develop later?

JF: First, I auditioned for Meng, then I got the part, and then they decided I might be a good voice for Toph. So, I auditioned for that, then got that part. Which actually at the time, Toph's name was "The Blind Bandit".

Acastus: Since you originally played Meng, was it difficult to "switch gears" so...

How Fire Nation Values Corrupted Azula

I posted this over on tumblr too.

So I was reading Shadow of Kyoshi and I found two little things that pertain to the upbringing and social rules of the Fire Nation. The first is, “Avatar Szeto was an ideal for us officials to live up to, and a shining example of Fire Nation values in general. Efficiency, precision, and loyalty.” And the second is, “I Know it sounds frivolous and wasteful but appearances matter in the palace. Fire Nation nobles dress and act to represent their clan affiliation and rank. Our peers notice our smallest choices and assign meaning and intentions to them.”...

Azula Is Not A Sadist Nor A Killer And She Can Be Redeemed

I've seen it commonly argued that Azula is a sadist and a killer and I disagree whole-heartedly for various reasons. For one thing, she is still a child, a child from an abusive and dysfunctional home at that. For seconds, I've always felt as though she has really done nothing different than any other character at the end of the day. I also believe that redemption is very possible for Azula. I wanted to elaborate on this by pulling things from old debates and articles I've written, just to throw my opinions into a more organized format instead of having to re-type the same points every time...

So KataraLover and I were talking about Azula's blue fire and about this Frozen-esque theory that Ursa tried to hide the fact that Azula could bend blue fire. So I made a thing.

Why I Think Azula Is (At Least One Of The) Most Powerful Character(s)

So on this one poll 'who would win a fight to the death' I kind of went on this rant as to why I thought Azula would win. And I thought I'd put it in article form.

First and foremost, the obvious; Azula has Blue fire (supposedly hotter than any other fire) on the show. This is something unique to Azula and Azula alone. Where as Bloodbending is not unique to Katara. And metalbending is not unique to Toph. Others have done it before and (in Toph's case) after. Plus Katara can only do it during the full moon whereas Azula's blue fire and lighting are present at all times. And she is very skilled...
