(The scean Zuko's room at the palace 7 years after Sozin's comit) A knoock at the door, Zuko answers the door, Katara is at the door. Zuko, can I talk to you? She asked. Sure what's up,Zuko said, letting her in. It's about me and Aang she said sitting on the couch. Umm, O.K. Zuko said. We had another fight Katara said. And, and... she started to cry. Zuko pulled her close and hugged her. Oh, Zuko Katara said, Aang has been such a jerk lately and he's called me everything in the book. Shhhhh Zuko said it's O.K. now matter what Aang says I'll always love you then he kissed her on the forhead. Oh Zuko I love you too, never let me go Katara said. They looked in each others eyes. Kiss me Katara said. What about Aang? Zuko said. Forget Aang, he's a jerk I think I'm in love you with you now Zuko Katara said. Then they kissed passionatly, then Zuko carried Katara to his bedroom and they made passionate love. Little did they know that Toph was listening at the door the whole time. Then she snuck back to her room for the night, with a smile on her face. To be contiued...

So, I just started watching Avatar, as in this very minute I'm on Book one, episode 12! lol But I'm loving it! I've seen a couple of random episodes in the middle, found it interested, and decided to watch the whole thing from start to finish. I know that there are going to be a lot of new characters added with some awesome twists. . .yeah kind of ruined the whole Zuko turning into a good guy thing. . . lol but the show is great!
I'm not sure of what's going to happen over all, and please no one spoil it for me, but I was just wanting to discuss some of the characters.
I love Sokka! He cracks...

My Diagnosis For Azula

First and foremost, I am not by any means a professional (I think that's a given though) this is simply my sort of speculation and opinion as to what she'd be diagnosed with based on what knowledge I have of psychology. A lot of the following quotes and information will be pulled from my abnormal psyc textbook and will be cited in MLA format (because I'm a dork like that and I'm used to it).

Acastus: How did you get involved with the show? Did you audition for Toph at the same time as Meng, or did the opportunity to play Toph develop later?

JF: First, I auditioned for Meng, then I got the part, and then they decided I might be a good voice for Toph. So, I auditioned for that, then got that part. Which actually at the time, Toph's name was "The Blind Bandit".

Acastus: Since you originally played Meng, was it difficult to "switch gears" so...

How Fire Nation Values Corrupted Azula

So I was reading Shadow of Kyoshi and I found two little things that pertain to the upbringing and social rules of the Fire Nation. The first is, “Avatar Szeto was an ideal for us officials to live up to, and a shining example of Fire Nation values in general. Efficiency, precision, and loyalty.” And the second is, “I Know it sounds frivolous and wasteful but appearances matter in the palace. Fire Nation nobles dress and act to represent their clan affiliation and rank. Our peers notice our smallest choices and assign meaning and intentions to them.”...

Azula Is Not A Sadist Nor A Killer And She Can Be Redeemed

I've seen it commonly argued that Azula is a sadist and a killer and I disagree whole-heartedly for various reasons. For one thing, she is still a child, a child from an abusive and dysfunctional home at that. For seconds, I've always felt as though she has really done nothing different than any other character at the end of the day. I also believe that redemption is very possible for Azula. I wanted to elaborate on this by pulling things from old debates and articles I've written, just to throw my opinions into a more organized format instead of having to re-type the same points every time...
