Why I think Walpurgis is one of the best antagonists is just how PMMM set her up. In general, she is a complex character and her appearance in each timeline is what caused the series to be set up the way it is. She's not my favorite (That's Takano), but I do really think her point in the series was important to it overall as well as the sacrifice in the end.

Why didn't I pick Envy? Well, Envy maybe my favorite anime villain and in my top ten favorite anime characters. But is he the best villain? Who made Envy, Pride, and all the other homunculus? Who had Envy start the war? Who is the reason so many people have died? Father did, he is the one who planned it all out. He is the villain that made one of the biggest plots in anime history.

Aizen. As far as I'm concerned, throughout the larger period of Bleach, he exhibited signs of the perfect antagonist: slick, calm, genius intellect, powerful and epic... Some of these other antagonists were a bit average. Although, kudos to Xanxus for also being epic and an intelligent antagonist.

I don't think he truly counts as a villain, but I definitely like the antagonist-like traits about him. He has somewhat of a god-complex/superiority-complex, he has wits, and is also the ultimate "troll". And I like him the most out of these, also Alois.

Yeah, maybe I should have pointed this out a long time ago, but this really isn't a 'who do you like best' poll. It's a 'who deserve this title most'.

Blackpanther: Nothing, just don't want this whole Awards to be nothing but cheat and biased. Like every other contest on this site. Frankly, after this many rounds, I'm getting tied of people just voting for whatever character they like best. You don't even know if any of the winners even deserve to win, since most people are just blindly choosing.

@Edvygrl8: She didn't say that he's not an antagonist, she said that she doesn't count him as a villain. The antagonist of the story isn't always the bad guy. And she said that she likes his antagonist like traits. That's why she's voting for him~
Really guys, there's no need to take this too seriously.

Stella: Actually this round is suppost to be bad guys. We already had a rival round. So this round is suppost to be for the all around villains, this poll is for them. Reason I left out the rival nominations and the ones who weren't bad guys.

^Oh ok~ I was just a little confused because at the beginning you said you said that L would be an antagonist because he's Light's enemy, even though he's considered to be the good guy. But, I understand now.

Stella: That's because he is counted as the antagonist, it says so on his profile. I mean, maybe some people see L as the bad guy and Light the good guy.

^ I see. You know, in the beginning I actually didn't think of Light as the bad guy. He had a morally good goal. To rid the world of criminals, protect the innocent type of thing. But that he was just trying to reach it in the wrong way. And then when he went insane and started slaughtering everyone, I lost respect for him. So, I can in a way see how people could think he's the good guy.
In that case I think I'll change my answer. Because I don't really look at Alois as being the bad guy. Just, really misunderstood.

@Edvygrl That's the reason why I explained that I honestly don't think of him as a villain: So you wouldn't bother me and explain that he's not one -- which you ended up doing anyway. I picked him because I count his antagonistic traits. Also, I don't watch the anime of some of these other choices. Why would I pick a character that I don't even care for?

Yes, people should vote for someone who's deserving of the title, but the character that most people think is the best will usually be a character that they actually like. So I thought, why the 'bloody hell' not? I didn't want to take this seriously, but you just HAD to say that. If you would've ignored what I said, I wouldn't be ranting right now. This isn't important, I apologize for the rant.

Candy: Well, I would prefer if people actually did put some thought into and didn't just choose the character they Iike best. Heck I would have choose Envy if we were doing that, but I don't think Envy is the best villain off the list. Even though Father is far from my favorite on the list, and probably like my 10th favorite FMA character. But he is still an awesome villain.

Edvy: Sure I love Izaya, but he was also a great antagonist. He started a WAR behind the scenes and nothing happened to him. His smart wits got him to be unnoticed throughout the anime. No one expected that war. Plus he an alround hilarious character who's mysterious aura makes him all the better. And why didn't you start yelling at the other people when they "biasedly" voted??!?!
