has to be a good one and it also matters if I feel like watching it.

I thought about this Idea since while talking with a friend we found out that we sort of have that feeling so yeah that's why

It's just like any other medium. Really light or comedic ones make me quite happy and calm, but I love discussing the more serious ones I enjoy with others. I feel pretty content with series that have lots of little subplots and a large cast of characters I enjoy because I love daydreaming about other worlds, but with really depressing series like Corpse Party, social interaction with others (ex. watching it with them or laughing about/discussing it afterward) is also important. The darker ones don't make me feel "content" just for simply existing, as opposed to series like OHSHC.

I'm sorry that probably made no sense.

I guess I sort of thought this since, basically I really have no friends if there we're only a few, plus i don't talk to them more often, I don't even have a girlfriend plus I can't talk to my siblings since theyre somewhat busy plus their have their own love life, same with my parents because of work plus IDK I can't open to them, I guess i'm sort of a lonely introvert who found happiness in watching anime

Yes! For the most part or rather it takes my mind off of a lot of things by kind of allowing me to escape and lose myself in what I'm watching. I do the same with video games as well. I spend quite a bit of time alone and don't talk to many people outside of my family (every so often) so it helps to have something I can escape into and get lost in when I'm at my loneliest moments.
