Ignore the Arch-type thing. After making it I just realized how stupid that "(not counting arch-types)" thing is.

dontmindmeyo picked It really depends on how the character is handled by the writers.:
All of them can be pulled off quite well. I don't have a least favourite, since all of the characters that fall under certain types still have their own quirks that make them different! Even OP characters and fanservice characters can be fine if pulled off and written well.
I honestly don't like summarizing things into a single sentence, because then it dulls down the character and makes them look exactly the same as other dulled down characters.
It's like saying OHSHC and SNK are the same type of anime just because a brown haired character's mother dies and the brown haired character joins a powerful group of people that deal with... visitors.

(nothing against you or the question of course!!!!! just stating how i feel about this kinda stuff sorry if my wording seems weird!!!!!)

^Nah, it makes sense. Kyoko is a character that pulled off my least favorite type of anime character perfectly. It's just most of the time it is pulled off poorly.I like more then half of these characters that used actually. One of them is evening in my top 10 characters of all time. What I mean is which one is usually pulled off the worst most of the time.I'm not tiring to stereo-type any of these characters. I'm just curious on what's the most hated type of characters. I do in fact agree that they can be well-written versions of these characters. It's just how they are written most of the time might set some people off.

Though your "!!!!" thing is kinda suspicious. jk,jk, but seriously, if there's anyone with off-putting and unnatural grammar here it's usually me.

Ryuuto013 picked The main female lead being basically just fan service :
My expectations of female main characters aren't that high.
If it's a fighting/action anime, they have to be good at fighting and good rolemodels. If it's not a fighting anime, they still have to be good rolemodels and be useful in some other way.
If they can't do that, they should give the role as heroine/female main character to a useful support character.

Only if they are 100% fanservious, having no real character to them and all they are are big boobs and panty shots. I don't mind plotted fanservious. Like Ryuka from Kill la Kill, yeah she is fanservious like the rest of the show has, but she is still a really really plotted and awesome character.

Brat characters with a tragic past I actually don't mind, just because all I can feel is pity for them. A person coming from an abusive life, full of pain, and suffering. No duh they will have faults, a character is awesome if they have faults. Frankly I hate Mary Sue/Gary Stu flawless characters. I love Alois, he comes from a broken and unloved life, no duh the kid is a brat and super flawed. That is why I love him. He is a flawed and broken character.

Tragic past characters are usually my favorites.

Emotionless characters, that really depends on the characters. Usually it is either I love love them or hate hate them.

VocaChan picked The OP main character that can beat everyone:
Mary Sues and Gary Stues are just...annoying...
Of course I want the good guys to win, but I want them to work hard and /deserve/ their powers.
It's annoying to see how other characters in the anime work hard, take risks and almost get themselves killed to become strong enough to protect their loved ones while all the protagonist needs to do is to walk in to a cave and pick the source of the powers up. Then the protagonist suddenly has the powers to defeat anyone and save the universe.
If the creators really /have/ to give so much power to /one/ character, they could at least give the powers to a character who deserves them.

I honestly don't mind any of the others. On the contrary, I actually quite like bratty characters with tragic pasts. I find them enjoyable to watch/read.
