I'm only asking this because a lot of the time when people say "favorite character", people automatically assume that's the character the person has a crush on.
My favorite character ever is Viral from Gurren Lagann, and not once have I felt romantically attracted to him (im more of a kamina person oops). Same with my favorite fictional character of all time, Joshua Kiryu. I love him more than any character ever, but in no way is that love romantic.

Guess I just grown out of loving every single favorite hot character. Though I am emotionaly attached to Izaya-kun but not in romantic way.

It tends to happen with my favorite male characters. :P Although I always ship them with other characters instead of with myself, which isn't what many people mean when they say they have a crush on a character.
