Conventional American cartoons consist strictly of comedic themes, but there is every type of anime you could ever think up, including comedy. With that knowledge, of course most would choose anime, although I do like some American cartoons, as well.

I love both. While anime appeals to me more now and is literally the only thing I'll watch. Cartoons are my childhood and I'm such a child at heart.

Both. Even though I've seen/enjoy a lot of cartoons, I tend to get more attached to anime.

Considering anime is just japanese cartoons, both. I like both american cartoons and japanese ones.

I like "Western" cartoons, too, but they're mostly for children or an outlet for adult humor. Anime has plots and characters I really care for.

Anime is more awesome because Anime has plot, characters, awesome music and incredible animation
I love cartoons too but not much cartoon have a plot and mostly are comedy for kids and adults on top of that anime has a better animation and anime has awesome opening and ending music whilst cartoon usually have not much of a music for its opening and ending

screw family guy,regular show,spongebob,american dad,the jetsons,billy and mandy and all that other crap on nick cartoon network and disney the only american show I like is King of the Hill I tell ya what
