Name your favorite shoujo mangas!

I think it would be amazing if we shared the shoujo mangas we have read and love, talked a bit about them so that way everyone can find new mangas to read!

I would just add a few of mine (i have way more though) here but without telling about them so i don't make this description too long lol but please ask me about them if you are curious! I would so gladly tell you about them!

SO THEN :

-Honey (MEGURO Amu) :(this one is extremely cute, i loved it :3 )

-Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare ( it's the latest one i've been reading and i love it, the latest chapler was soooo interesting i can't wait. the art is amazing by the way)

-skip beat (this is my favorite, definitely; its funny, dramatic and you'll love the protagonist!! there's an animated version and it's okay, you can see it, however there's one thing that i didn't like at first but it changes and i love it so .. RECOMEND THIS MANGA so much :3 ) the art is awesone too
-Nijiiro Days (MIZUNO Minami) : it's nearly imposible that you don't know about this one if you're a shoujo fan, there's an anime version but i don't like it )
-Oresama Teacher: okay read this one first please, haha! i LOVE it, it's so funny i can't stop laughing sometimes because it's so absurd!! haha i really recomend it :3
-Strobe Edge : this one has a beautiful art too and the story is lovely (and it's finished :D ) i red it quikly and is cute but serious too. I think you'll like it
-Seishun x Kikanjuu ( it's clasified in this gender too but it's also really cool, fun and epic, i really like it)
-Say I Love You( i really loved this one, it has a mature serious feel)
-Otome Youkai Zakuro : (it's diferent, like about demons and stuff; there's an animted version of it and it's cool because of the songs but nothing else)
-Lip Smoke : (oyay, still haven't read it but looks good)

Heyyy!!! I think we will we at least good manga shoujo lovers buddies haha I feel your pain about the ones still on-going. Omoi OFF (to lazy to right the whole thing) is one of my new favs! Really good! I hope the pairings make more progress in the next chapter XD I also read Nijiro Days, Strobe Edge, Say I Love You! The rest i only find familiar Honey, Skip Beat and Oresama Teacher. I have had many people telling me to read Skip Beat but i have tried the first chapter and didn't stick to it, i don't know if it's the drawing style that i don't find appealing or was just a bad day lol should i give it another try? I found myself wanting to read Oresama Teacher and Otome Youkai Zakuro after what you said!

@Marta2000 I should probably follow your 3 episode rule lol, i'm so picky with drawing style that i don't even watch the first episode or read the first chapter of the manga to decide if it worth watching...but you aren't the first to tell me Skip Beat is great. So i will go for that 3 episode rule to finally decide for real. I do think watching the anime first, and liking it, will get me to read the manga. Thanks so much for taking your time posting your list and commenting on them!!! <3 You are awesome. If you have more shoujo animes you like, please share them too!

Wow! Is it shoujo? I looked up some pictures to see if i knew it, and the drawing art style looks pretty great!

I guess some of them do have shoujo in them haha I seen most of these in anime version. And i have found interest in starting reading Fairy Tail manga, should i give it a go?

I think those are mostly shounen. xD I'm the same way, I usually prefer shounen myself.

Haha yeah, i also have some favorite Shounen but i mostly read shoujo mangas, but animes it goes both ways.

Kamisama Hajimemashita is a guilty pleasure of mine (okay most shoujo I read is a guilty pleasure), and OHSHC is really nice to read when you're feeling down.

I also like the Taiwanese live action versions of MARS and Akuma de Sourou, but I'm not a massive fan of the manga themselves.

I have seen these one as animes! The only one i have also read as manga is Kamisama Hajimemashita. Which one should i read first, OHSHC or Fruit Basket? Good choices btw!

^Thanks! I would definitely recommend Fruits Basket first. I can't really explain why that well, it's jus... good writing. Character development and foreshadowing galore! There are some genius plot twists that you won't see coming if you avoid spoilers.

Amazing choices!!!! I don't know half of them but i just looked them up and girl!!! You made me add some to my list!! I might even start reading Ayashi no Ceres right now lol the whole shoujo, supernatural, physcological reminds me of Ghost Hunt. AND BTW, i love Magic Knight Rayearth, ultimate anime and manga favorite.
