Well, I see by your icon that you've watched Naruto. =^_^= I'll start with some anime like Naruto, then:
Yu Yu Hakusho is a 'kick-ass fighting anime', as the club description puts it, but that's not all it is. It is filled with humour, lovable characters and adorable moments unmatched by nearly all other anime (especially in the English dubbed version). It greatly inspired Naruto, I think. There are 112 episodes.
Hunter X Hunter is by the same manga writer as Yu Yu Hakusho (Yoshihiro Togashi) and, again, Naruto seems to have gotten a lot of ideas from it. It's a great watch for anyone, there is absolutely nothing to dislike about it (at least not that I can see). If you watch it, though, it's best to watch the 2011 version, as the 1999 version was cancelled and it wasn't as good, anyway. There are 348 episodes (or something like that).
If you're a little tired of that shounen/fighting stuff, Natsume Yuujinchou is a lovely, heartwarming, relaxing anime. It's officially classed as a shoujo, but it's not like most shoujo; it isn't about romance and contains a REALLY cute talking fat cat. There are roughly 51 episodes.
Back to shounen. XD Hataraku Maou-sama currently only has thirteen episodes, but they MIGHT make a second season one day. I hope they do. It's one of the funniest anime I've ever watched and it does a LOT in thirteen episodes. It's about a dark lord from another world that gets transported to modern-day Tokyo, turned into a human teenager and stripped of most of his powers.
If you want me to recommend any more, just ask. =^_^=
