Is Fate/stay night worth watching?

I started watching Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and found out its a second show to Fate/stay night. I watched the first episode of Fate/stay night, but I find Unlimited Blade Works more interesting. Should I watch Fate/stay night first because I might miss something, or just watch Unlimited Blade Works?
