What kind of Japanese music do you own or listen too?

Me:
Anime Soundtracks (like Azumanga Daioh, Read or Die)
Videogame Soundtracks (like Castlevania, Street Fighter)
Vocaloids (like Miku, Luka, and Gumi)
Idol (like AKB48 and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - pictured, gosh she's weird)
What kind of Japanese music do you own or listen too?

and i'm not sure if it counts, but i certainly enjoy watching anime intro videos and amvs done to western music

yeah. i get a little frustrated on itunes because it seems much of the anime music is remixed. i want to hear the version i heard in the anime.

Yeah it sucks. If you were looking for artists in particular my favorite Japanese artists are Flow and DaisyxDaisy they are AWESOME!!!

I swear, I listen to more Japanese music than I do English . . . I sort of have an advantage though, since I have an exclusively Amazon app that lets me download any song I want as long as it's been posted on YouTube.

interesting, i hadn't heard of utaites before. i saw that they sometimes play live music at Miku's concerts though.

listening to anime songs is great. it's fun to immerse yourself for a couple minutes in anime that have watched before.
