Any animes like Naruto?

There's always the big mega animes like Bleach, Fairy Tail, One Piece, InuYasha, and Dragon Ball Z but none of them are exactly like Naruto other than they are also long, have epic fights, follow likable characters and such.


I can't really think of a lot of animes that are exactly like Naruto, but I can think a few that have similar qualities to Naruto and ones he might like:
Code Geass
Death Note
K-project
Psychic Detective Yakumo
Blue Exorcist
Peacemaker Kurogane
Zombie Loan
Persona 4: The animation
Sword Art Online
Saiyuki

He should maybe try to branch out and see what other types of animes he likes, he can google the ones above and pick ones that sounds interesting. But popular animes are popular for a reason, they are pretty amazing. Naruto is still my 4th favorite of all time, which says something because i've seen a lot.

In terms of plot, I don't know of any, sorry. In terms of quality, however, I recommend Fullmetal Alchemist. Also, Magi and Deathnote are very good. Deathnote is quite dark, but has a very clever plot. Magi is light-hearted and fun, but can often be quite lewd.

If you don't mind me suggesting something that isn't officially classed as an anime, but looks very like one in terms of art style, I'd recommend Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is AMAZING!! *_* It's still nowhere near as good as Naruto, though... nothing is, it seems... I adore Naruto, it's my favourite anime, too. Your brother has very good taste. :P

Naruto is one of the best animes ever, it's very unique so I don't think there is anything like it besides Bleach. And those two are not really alike. Beside the others that have already been said. You could try soul eater. Black Star reminds me of Naruto in a way.
