actually no, it's a part of a more little known genre - not sure what its official name is, but its a genre that's about female versions of historical figures. this one follows the exploits of female versions of the characters featured in Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Oh yeah. I now know what genre you're referring to but I too don't seem to know the exact name for that particular genre. However I do remember there is another series that is exactly like that genre: can't remember the title but I do know it's about this girl who got transported to this parallel universe/alternate reality of feudal Japan where all the historical characters are female versions including a female version of Oda Nobunaga
yep, you're thinking of Battle Girls: Time Paradox. I liked that one and read up on my history a bit when watching it so I could "get" the parallels and jokes. i'm also "slowly" watching Sengoku Collection (Parallel World Samurai) very slowly whenever I feel like watching another episode. i know of two or three more.
Ah. So that's the title. Thanks for telling me. Appreciate it too. Now for Sengoku Collection (Parallel World Samurai) are u referring to Sengoku Basara and at the same time is it a sequel to that series or is that a totally different title and overall series?
Sengoku Collection is a completely different thing than Sengoku Basara. It's kind of like Battle Girls, except the female versions of the historical characters (including Odo Nobunaga, after seeing three female versions of Oda, I'm convinced she was really a female now) come to the modern day and try to their way through modern society.
Ah. So from what you're saying Sengoku Collection happens to be a sequel to Battle Girls, am I correct ? And thanks for that info too. Really appreciate it as well
