i dont understand angle beats plzz help answer this question

Have you ever read everlost? Its a book by neal shusterman, and its about the best explanation I can come up with. Its like purgatory you could. The place you go to before you hit heaven or hell. And since its the inbetween and they're already dead, they can't die. And continue watching about the destroyed part. I hope that is a good enough answer for you. :)
