I'm a write too on FanFiction and I sometimes wonder if people will like my Fanfics.

Now on the name of your OC(Original Character), if you like the name, then keep it. If you want to change it then change it.

So just ignore you're friends opinion. That's all I'm saying.

also you have to do what makes you happy and follow the path you want to follow no matter what you do in life there is always atleast one person who will always disagree with you but those arn the people you should be counting the people you wanna count are those who agree and support you. im sure your friend can look past the name

That's just one opinion. How will we even know how to judge it if the only information we know is that there's an OC named Kasey? The name doesn't even matter since many people give their OCs some rather odd names.

I say you post it. Even if many people think it's bad, don't take it personally. It's just FanFiction and a lot of them are just weird, creative, or repulsive. One of them made me feel nauseous for almost a month...
