Lupin = Mary Sue?

For anyone who remembers the Lupin III series such as Castle of Cagliostro or the shows that used to appear on Adult Swim, does anyone think he's like a Mary Sue or something?

I don't think so, because a Mary Sue is usually written in to score with the writer's favorite character, and Lupin never really fully gets Fujiko; she remains just ever so slightly out of his reach. As for the other girls, they're just "guest stars".

I don't think you have to admit that person is your favorite character. You can just comment on saying it.
