This is my opinion! I realize that what I view as attractive is a little different from the classic broad shouldered, chiseled featured Disney hero. So don't attack me. However I'd be glad to hear your comments. Here goes...

15. Taran - The Black Cauldron (Disney)
Taran makes it in as number 15. He's sweet and brave and willing to sacrifice everything to save Eilonwy. But he's more cute than Hot.

14. Sinbad - Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (Dreamworks)
This dashing pirate, voiced by Brad Pitt is one sexy animal. He's a scoundrel but he's as loyal as a dog and for that he gets 14th...

In 1995 a film was released that everyone thought was going to suck: Toy Story. There had never been an completely CGI animated movie before and this was going to be Pixar's first film. Sure they made good short films, but full movies are very different.
On top of all of this, Toy Story came out during the Disney Renaissance, an era where Disney held absolute power over the animation industry, long before DreamWorks, Blue Sky, Warner Animation Group, or Illumination came into existence and before Studio Ghibli was respected and appreciated by western audiences. Toy Story received a lot of similar...

We've all seen those Disney favorites a thousand time. But were do you look when you want something different but still animated the way you like it? I've made a list of traditionally animated movies created by my four favorite Disney alternatives as well as a few of my favorites that don't fit into those sections.

Dreamworks is known primarily for it's CGI movies such as Shrek but it's traditionally animated movie are not to be overlooked.

Dreamworks
The Prince of Egypt
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
The Road to El Dorado
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Joseph: King of Dreams*

Don Bluth was one...

Heres a few that I like and some of them are oldies and some are newies
I recently realised that I have been missing out on many interesting animated movies. I am a true Disney fan at heart and no movies will ever be able to give me the same feelings that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Hercules, The Little Mermaid and many more can, but I have realised that there are many other good animated movies out there that are not in relation to Disney at all.

In this article I am looking a DreamWorks traditionally animated movies, which only consists of five films: The Prince of Egypt (1998), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Joseph: King of Dreams...

Before I start with the list, some explanations: Those are not necessarily my favorite movies. Those are movies I believe to be special in one way or another, movies which I think offer something different from the standard animated movie. And while I numbered the list, most of the placements are pretty much exchangeable – to make it on the list, it had to be a full-length movie (regardless of theatrical release, though don’t expect any TV specials), it had to be a stand-alone (not a sequel or TV-show based) and it had to offer something special, preferably in terms of animation (though...

List of animated feature filmsFrom

This list of animated feature films compiles animated feature films from around the world and is organized alphabetically under the year of release (the year the completed film was first released to the public). Theatrical releases as well as made-for-TV (TV) and direct-to-video (V) movies of all types of animation are included. Currently the list doesn't recognize one release form from another.

In order to qualify for this list, films must be "over 40 minutes long and have animation in at least 75% of their running time, or have at least 40 minutes of animation...

I watched The Lego Batman Movie. It's a 2017 animated film that's a spin off of The Lego Movie. Is this Batman film hilarious and heartwarming or is it a bad comedy film? Please read the review to find out.

Plot:

Batman (Bruce) is still sad about his parents being gone and because of that is a loner. Robin wants to be Batman's son. Also the Joker is putting Gotham City in danger. It's up to Batman to accept Robin as his son and stop the Joker.

The film has both silly and drama scenes. The drama of Batman dealing with his parents being gone and moving on to a new family is well done, but the...

I am quite a big fan of the main eight classic movies that star Disney Princesses, this consists of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Cinderella (1950), Sleeping Beauty (1959), The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), Pocahontas (1995) and arguably Mulan (1998).

But recently I wanted to see what other companies Princess Leading Ladies had to offer and I found quite a lot! Although in this article I am looking specifically at a few. So in this article I am looking at: Anastasia (1997), Thumbelina (1994), Quest for Camelot (1998), The Swan Princess (1994),...

The Mouse and His Child is a novel by Russell Hoban, first published in 1967 and is the most well known of Hoban's works. It was adapted in 1977 into an American-Japanese animated film.
The mouse and child are a pair of toy mice, joined by the hands and operated by clockwork. The story charts their beginning in a toy store, their purchase, discarding, and pursuit by a malicious rat named Manny who runs a casino and uses broken toys as his labor force, and ultimately, their quest to become self-winding.
This movie has been a favourite of mine since I first saw it as a young child. It differs...

Animation is an art form they say, and in a few countries in the world, there are some excellent animation...especially in Japan. Me and my twin sister LOVE anime, and this film is one my favorites; though I was shocked and surprised by the negative reviews I saw on the web, I thought this film was extremely imaginative and very well done.

I love Banipal Witt, it is like anything you have seen before - truly a marvelous place to behold. My favorite characters from the film are Meeko, she is so adorable; ChuChu and the lovely Lily Remlun, daughter of The great Magician Remlun. Though she didn't get enough screen-time (flashback you know), I still love her. And it was Lily's papa, that give her the curse of turning everyone into balloons by touch.

So overall, I love this film from beginning to end.

Ok here is a list of movies that are animated that aren’t Disney.

#1 Cats Don’t dance: Set in 1930s Hollywood a cat named Danny goes to Hollywood to make it big with Darla Dimple who is a Hollywood chid star who is also the villain in this movie. Of course on the way he meets a cute penguin and a female cat named Sawyer who has the voice of an angel. Packed with great music and cute characters this movie reminded me of The Princess & the Frog only there is humans in PATF and they turn into frogs but in Cats Don’t Dance they are cats and not humans. My favourite character would be either...

Quest for Camelot; I remember this movie years ago and I remember this two headed dragon in the movie. The story is about 2 people who have to find a sword and save King Arthur and Camelot. I remember this song Looking through your eyes which was a nice song and I thought the animation was nice. Here is the song if you never seen this movie.

The Scarecrow:Ok this movie isn’t well known but its about this young girl named Polly who falls in love with this scarecrow that comes to life by an enchanted witch. When the scarecrow comes to life he wishes to become human and so the enchanted witch...

A while back I wrote a review of seven non-Disney princess orientated movies. Today I discovered that in 2002 an animated adaption of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Princess and the Pea had been released, after a rather strange and tiring week over the festive holidays I thought I deserved a nice lie in bed to watch this movie. I did of course do so and here I am reviewing the film in this very article.

When I initially chose to watch the film, I was expecting it to be mainly about the heroine of the story of whom is named Daria in this adaption. But in fact it seems to follow...
