You just can't beat this kid's voice. It's so pure and refreshing.

At this point, it's a matter of picking the lesser of two evils for me. While I think that David Archuleta makes fewer basic singing mistakes than David Cook does (he's off-key less often) AND I like his personality more (I really like his humility, while David Cook's personality rubs me the wrong way), David A. is not very interesting to see/hear perform.

It's interesting, because I mostly pay attention to the general discussions of "American Idol" here and nowhere else. Here there is a pretty strong preference for David Archuleta, I think. But today I was listening to various radio stations as I went to work and ran errands throughout the day, and DJ after DJ (on different stations!) disparaged David Archuleta's ability and desirability as the next AI. I was pretty surprised!

on many unbiased sites DC is ahead of DA. and on others DA is ahead of DC.
but seriously, NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE who VOTE for them bother to vote online. so they don't REALLY have that much importance...
my prediction for the finale:
DAVID WILL WIN!!!

David Archuleta has a good voice, but is so boring..He reminds me of melinda Doolittle and her humility..David Cook is a good performer and has the ability to do more than sing..I think the little teen girls will vote for Archuleta and teen girls are fickle and do not look for the talent..David Cook has the talent and will go further whether he wins or not..Archuleta will join the other Disney kids..

Ture, David A. mostly sings slow, quiet songs. David Cook has a much better range. ;)
