I think this Season has proven how much amazing talent is still out there. They deserve a chance to be heard and I think American Idol is a great platform to do so.
From the German perspective, I really enjoy that AI gives any music style a chance. Over here every winner is cast in´to the danceable mainstream pop box, which is just terrible. Not one of our Idols made it big time.

I really enjoy watching AI and will do so also in Season 8.
