Your first question: How do you get medals? There is only one way to get a medal - contribute. I've been at Fanpop over a year, and I haven't gotten a single medal. I haven't contributed a single picture, video, article, or link, I've only posted a couple of polls and I've only asked two questions. I believe to get a medal you have to contribute to every aspect of the club (which is why I've never gotten one). This includes asking questions, making polls, writing articles, posting videos, etc. Of course, I could be completely wrong about this, but I'm speaking from my own experience. Just keep contributing and you'll get one soon enough.

Your second question: Do you deserve a medal on this club? Well... why not? If you haven't been super inappropriate or randomly started trolling the spot, I don't see why you shouldn't deserve one.
