Alex has joined the NOAH's anti-fur norwegian campaign "150 celebrities against fur"

"It does not help to try to warm themselves with fur when they are cold towards other living beings" says the artist Alexander Rybak.

More and more people want to show their opposition to fur farming, and it is also well-known artists and cultural profiles. NOAH's campaign has now gathered support from 150 artists, actors, sports sections, fashion sections, writers, comedians, etc. Several of them also make the appeal in NOAH Torchlight against fur 12 november. November.

- NOAH is very pleased that the opposition to fur farming is growing stronger every year. It means a lot that profile individuals choose to take a stand against fur, and do not show up in fur products, but make an effort to combat animal cruelty, says manager and veterinarian in NOAH - for animal rights, Siri Martinsen.

rebecca19 Love the fact that alex supports NOAH, i myself love animals and am a vegetarian who does not eat any meat or fish and furthermore does not wear fur or other animal products not because of religious reasons etc but because i am my own person who has the individual belief of being against this and has a love for animals with no desire to consume or wear them. PLZ DO NOT SEND ME HATE COMMENTS (MY MUM AND GRAN DIED THIS YEAR, SO ITS THE LAST THING I NEED), I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO EAT MEAT ETC, AND NONE OF MY FRIENDS ARE VEGETARAN OR FEEL SAME WAY AS ME. Helene17Norway I don't wear fur either, neither do I use make up thats been tested on animals. It's good that people deside not to support the fur industry, but im surprised that people who call themself animal-friendly often use make up tested on animals ( like maxfactor and Dior and especially Loreal ). Try google animal testing and see the cruelty behind it, and you will never want to buy make up from them anymore. But I'm gonna admit that I eat meat. That is because norwegian animals are being threated very good throughout their lives. If the situation were the same as in the fur farms and animal testing buildings, I would of course, not eat it.

AkliH I eat meat, too. But I have the greatest respect for all vegetarians, because they show how big love for animals can be. I like animals, too, but I think I would never be strong enough to be vegetarian. But I don't wear fur (I think it doesnt look good anyway) and I (or my family in general, since it's not me who buys most of the food) buy e.g. farm products only from where we know that the animals were treatened well. Abd of course I think it's a good decision of Alex to join such a campaign. In German television there are always commercials againt whale hunting made by celebrities, and these commercials make you feel very sad, even you dont even see tortured animals...

Helene17Norway Norway hunt whales, but after what I've heard, the got these new torpedos, which explodes and makes the animal die instantly. I don't know how the japanese people kill whales though..

AkliH I don't know either. I've heard the most cruel thin is seal hunting in Canada...

Helene17Norway Seal hunting is terrible. I saw a documentary about it once, and I literally almost passed out. But speaking about fur and stuff, I don't wear canada goose jackets either, for obvious reasons.
