Did Alex delete his private facebook? I tried to log in but it said his account had disappeared

No, he didn't, Kjell Arild said that it's facebook who had blocked it, and he thougt it was some fan who was to active to report fake-profiles or something, but I'm not sure, I just know that he didn't deleted it ;s

well it explains how it disapperead cause marianne which I believe ,even though they are not sure, knows some further things says that "there is a much higher possibillity, that the blocking of his page, was caused by the group of aggressive spammers, Inci Söslük, who has attacked this page, very organized, 3 times until now"...
