This morning I was in my mums car looking for my iPod and lifted up some tissues.I found some burnt out cigarrette butts.Mum has a past with smoking, and I think she might be smoking again. How do I confront her about this?
I don't know your mom so I can't be sure of how she'd react, but I would just ask her, "Mom are you smoking again?"

But the thing is, I dont think that my dad knows either. So, if I tell her, then she might tell my dad and my dad hates people that smoke, so im worried they might get divorced if she tells him.

You do realize your Mother can quit smoking if she is without your dad knowing right?
I suggest not treating here like your mother and more like a friend…I don't know why but I guess it helps with keeping ones dignity.
As strange as it is, I once confronted an adult about smoking…I know her for about 10 minutes. My friend or my enemy that was my friend hated me for that and I have no idea why…
