Finn has more of a childish attitude, while Fionna has shown maturity in both F&C episodes.

Yes, there hasn't been much development on her, but she still shown more maturity than Finn does.
I have nothing against Finn, in fact, it's his childishness what makes Adventure Time even more awesome! :)

But the fact is Fionna is not always up to date while Finn is the main character, the spirit of the show so its just a matter of time

finn. you know why, cause although fionna was somewhat mature in her two episodes she has only been in two episodes... you can't base maturity off only two episodes especially when in both episodes there were guys hitting on her. not to mention that the F&C stories were told by Ice King and Marceline. if a fionna and cake episode was told be finn or jake it would be much more realistic. finn has been mature in a few episodes as well, it's just that on the whole he is childish.
in the end if fionna is real then she is just as mature as finn.

I guess it's because, when I was 10, I was ALWAYS the one being put in charge. My cousins (some are 8 or 7) are like 11 or 13 then but I was the one who was taking care of them.

With Finn writing about a genderbent of himself, it would turn out to be a self-insert. And how does that make it accurate? The poll asks which of them is more mature and that comes from the character itself, and fionna's a character, whether or not she's from Ice king's mind. Sorry, I'm being blunt.

Yes, I was blunt. I meant the insensitive blunt not the being brief blunt.Btw, character is a character as a whole, that includes personality, actions, portrayals. And is Fionna not a character? Just because she's from someone else's mind does not make her less of a character. By having Finn write about her makes an entirely different character out of her, and that altering explanation seems to be for Finn's advantage. It's Finn or Fionna here and not Finn or Fionna from Ice King's mindAnd that's just my opinion.
