It was deep in the night, when the human boy sat helplessly in continuous thoughts.
Finn saw something that flashed in his mind:
Notes of an orchestra and a shining, bright and beautiful girl, dressed in the finest clothes Ooo has to offer.
He walked to the piano, and started to play.
The alluring music he made started to put him in sleep, as the piano magically played itself.

The piano played up some sad tunes as Finn thought of her...
Serenading the girl with the sweetest of melodies he has conjured in his years of isolation...
Walking with the girl, in the mountains...
Offering her some food...
Adventuring together...

A tearful moment.
Finn cried silently, as the girl ran away, too bright to stare to.
Too unrecognizable to love.
Too impossible...

It even required him to step through the Ice Kingdom, battling Simon in the process, stepped through the Badlands, the impossible deemed possible.
Blood dripped through his tough body, just to get her.
He did the most rigorous challenges, climbed the highest heights, even requiring him to swim through the ocean which he greatly feared.

Finn, at last, reached the girl, at the Tree Fort.
"Gotcha." Finn said as he limped to the bright girl.
"You did all for me?" She said, caressing Finn's bruised face.
"Of course."
They pulled into one kiss...

(Back to reality.)
Finn woke up, seeing the dawn, exploding its share of colors in the sky.
It reminded him of the kiss with the girl...
"I miss you, even in my sleep..." was the only mutter Finn said after waking up.
And he stepped on the top of the Tree Fort, looking at the beautiful sunrise, reminding him of the dream.
It was only a dream..
