Adventure Time With Finn and Jake Question

Do you think people start caring about FP and Finn once they broke up?

I'm just saying this because the introduction of such an interesting opposite to Finn really spiced things up a bit, and there was some really needed character development other than Finn just being a "hero boy". I think that judging by the shows clues, there may be a reunion episode in S7 (which is just around the corner). Some evidence is at the end of "The Comet" where when the comet is showing all the different things Finn would leave behind, it showed Flame Princess symbolizing love, maybe implying the creators of the show still consider it viable.
Also, if you read the official comic "Playing with Fire" (which is a great comic and i prefer it to any episode) It shows Flame Princess kissing Finn and controlling her fire to not hurt him. Meaning they can be together.

people still care about finn, his character is still consistent with who he was during the relationship and his character is dynamic.

FP on the other hand... well, she got the sharp point of the sword. to put it bluntly, her character has become worse. She has become less independent (contrary to the belief originally held about why the breakup needed to happen since she is never seen without Cinnamon Buns), her character is no longer interesting or unique (she did a complete turn around in that department, going from passionate and aggressive to business-like and unattached, like a less intelligent, more honest version of princess bubblegum), and she is no longer part of a engaging plot (who cares about the fire kingdom? but when she had to manage her own elemental complex just to be with finn and had to deal with living outside of the flame kingdom, that was pretty interesting to watch develop).

tl;dr: Finn's fine. FP isn't. she's lost her passionate character, so the fans lost their passion in her.

I still care about Finn, I'm sure everybody on this club still does. He has always been himself, cheerful and fun.

FP... she is more mature and pretty much careless about anyone besides her kingdom and the citizens who reside in it. Which makes her the opposite of Finn. I don't know what they plan to do with her later but I hope it is a positive change in her character.

In Deduction,

Finn will always be legendary.

FP will always be the person who ruined Finname for everybody by dating fucking Cinnamon Bun and it's hard to say that this club will ever respect her again.

^they've given her plenty of screen time since the break up. She's been in 4 episodes since Frost and Fire that have shown aspects of personality, she was in 5 episodes before Frost and Fire that showed aspects of her personality, and two of those episodes were just her introduction. And we felt we had a good grasp of her personality and character before Frost and Fire and we enjoyed her presence. The writers have written plenty about her since then, but all of it is steps back from what was established before Frost and Fire. I've already explained her actions. What they accomplished in those 3 episodes from her introduction are years ahead of what they've been able to do with her character now.
