IU’s upcoming Netflix original “Persona” has unveiled its first preview!

“Persona” is a new short film project that will feature IU in four different stories told by four different directors: Im Pil Sung, Lee Kyung Mi, Kim Jong Kwan, and Jeon Go Woon. IU will play an entirely different character in each of the four films, which were all inspired by the actress.

On March 22, “Persona” revealed its official poster and shared a new sneak peek of the upcoming short film collection. The preview begins with Lee Kyung Mi’s “Love Set,” in which IU plays a heated game of tennis with her father’s girlfriend (played by Bae Doona). The girlfriend tells her before the match, “If I win, you end things with your dad,” and IU’s character later pleads, “Dad, don’t marry that woman.”

The second film, Im Pil Sung’s “Collector,” stars IU as a mysterious young woman with a secret. A man says in voice-over, “From the very beginning, you were special, and you had a lot of secrets.” IU’s character then comments dreamily, “When I let my body flow with the waves, it felt like I had become sugar. I want to be freer and...

A musty odor greeted the group as they arrived in the area where the pipes are located. Scruffy covered his nose and asked, "What's that awful smell?" Bridget replied, "It must be coming from up there. We'll have take the stairs to inspect it." With that, everyone went up. They then discovered the giant pipes, and there was certainly something fishy going on with them. Rosie said, "I think the smell is being emitted from inside them." Nicholas replied, "Yeah. I think so, too, love." Bridget unsealed the top of one of the pipes. With a shocked look, she discovered a colony of dead rats! She remarked, "Goodness gracious! These pesky vermins must have tried to make a home in these pipes. As a result, they blocked the passage of the water, which eventually resulted in the disruption." Rosie replied, "Oh, my. So that's what cut off the city's water supply!" Bridget remarked, "Yes, I believe so." John said, "I hate rats. They're nothing but a bunch of troublemakers. Anyways, we need to get rid of those corpses and clean the pipes so the water can flow smoothly again." Bridget replied, "That's right, mate!" Rosie exclaimed, "Let's get to work, everyone!" And so, the group put on their...

Goldie is the strong and tough love interest of Scrooge McDuck. She is the ice cold queen of Dawson who can melt the heart of the King of the Klondike. There has been iterations of her in comics and cartoons but the question remains, what made them so unique and beloved.

Ducktales Reboot Goldie

This Goldie is different from the other Goldie because she did not admit that she loved Scrooge more than gold ever but she showed it instead. It was revealed that the reason why Goldie left him at the ice because there was a beast coming she thought he would get out. To be fair, he did, Scrooge did not get out through ice melting, we can clearly see the ice where Scrooge is in not melted at all while Goldie's side of the ice did.

Also she did risk her precious gold to save. People can say that she was immune to it anyway but by saving Scrooge, she sacrifice the chance of easy gold and took the hard way, getting out of gold, getting a ship and then somehow loading it instead of letting Scrooge die and then finish Glomgold herself, which through the fight we can see her easily capable of doing.

I didn't intend on writing this originally, but I just felt like venting, so here I go. Being asexual isn't easy, but it's part of who I am. I can't exactly change that. What's hard is some people can't accept it.

I thought that I wouldn't be bullied once I was in college. I still get bullied for being asexual. It's indirectly, unlike when I was in high school. At least, I'm not getting beat up for it.

I overheard one person saying that the reason I'm asexual is that I can't get a date. I could if I wanted to. I have been asked out by a few people, but I turned them down. They just weren't my type. One of them didn't even like rock and roll. That's a deal breaker for me.

For the longest time, I've actually been afraid to date. When I was in high school, there was one guy who told me that I would like sex if I tried it. He then told me to meet him after school. I did not meet with him. I went straight home. I'm sure if I had met with him, he would have raped me. After opening up to some of my friends here about it, Layla pointed out to me that I shouldn't let just one incident make me afraid of dating. I'm not currently looking. I'm waiting...

Today is a tough time for us to see that Commander Notaris has fallen by demons while protecting a female civilian. To avenge Leftaris's death, we will take the fight back to the denizens of hell one demon after another, until all have been slaughtered. I, Paladin Prime Zach Huehn stand here to remind you that this is the beginning of a new conflict. The armada and the USSO will have to stick together to stop this extraterrestrial menace. With weapons in your hands, armor on your bodies, and ammo in your packs, we will do all that we can to seek vengeance. We will not only fight for our families and freedom, but we will fight for our fallen comrade and countless others. We are the Armada, we are the United States Space Operations, We are...Humanity's only hope. All those in favor of fighting back against the demons, shout "ooh rah" with me!

As of today the investigation is officially over. They found that no members were involved in the whole Maho case. So they're basically calling a victim a lair. Thank goodness MOST fans and the general public are not falling for this. How stupid do you take us. Maho went online to vent after management FAILED to do their job and investigate for over a month. She cried after being neglected and showed that there is favoritism when it comes to girls who come from a wealthier standing and more powerful company.
We all are expecting Maho to graduate in the next couple of weeks. They already tried to paint her as a mentally ill woman. So yeah FUCK THE MEN. FUCK NGT. FUCK ASK. FUCK NIIGATA POLICE DEPATEMENT. AND FUCK THE INVESTIGATORS.

You all failed the person who was the victim in all this, Yamaguchi Maho. As of right now some fans might have forgiven you but we won't and by looks of it neither is the Japanese general public.

The rest of that day and all of the next one passed uneventfully, but oh, so slowly, as I waited for the time when I would have my date with Paulie.
I was staying in the hostel, but not really talking to anyone or drawing attention to myself, trying not to mess up anybody’s timeline. Also I just wasn’t used to talking to people in person when I didn’t already know them well from social media. Paul was different, of course. I had read so much about him and watched so many vids of him, I already felt like I knew him, and besides – well, he was a Beatle! Or he would be. I watched the people, though. It was fascinating seeing how different they were from the people in my time. You never saw a room full of people in 2157 where everyone was talking and dancing and eating and laughing together. Nobody talked to anyone they hadn’t met online or at least e-mailed first. These people even looked different from the ones I was used to, and talked differently too, in ways I couldn’t really put my finger on. I was considered a pretty average size in my own time, but most of the girls here were both taller and thinner than I was, and I wondered if the average size had...

The first day of spring was approaching. Leila and Greeley were on Spring Break. Leila said, "It doesn't seem possible that we're going to be finished with our first year of college in less than two months." He said, "I know." She said, "It's also hard to believe that my dog, Paul, is not a puppy anymore. He's fully grown." Greeley said, "They grow up very quickly." She said, "They really do. I also can't believe that my birthday is coming up. It's the first day of spring this year, March 20. I'm going to be eighteen." Greeley said, "Happy Birthday." She said, "Thank you." Knowing that she had friends that she didn't have to say "I thought we were friends" to gave Leila comfort. She also knew that she didn't have to have a romantic relationship to complete her. She has and supportive aunt and uncle and great friends. Because of that, she's not lonely at all.

"STAR TREK DISCOVERY" COMMENTARY: (2.01) "Brother"

I just recently viewed the Season Two premiere of "STAR TREK DISCOVERY", (2.01) "Brother" on CBS All Access. On one hand, the episode struck me as a solid entry for a Trek show that set up the second season's story arc and introduction of new characters. This is nothing knew. I have witnessed similar set ups for shows like "BABYLON 5" and "BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER". But what I did not count on were some differences and characters that would leave me scratching my head.

I do not think I have ever encountered a Trek show that has generated so much conflict and controversy as "STAR TREK DISCOVERY". I take that back. There has been one other series that has generated controversy close to the same level as "DISCOVERY" . . . namely "STAR TREK VOYAGER". This does not strike me as surprising, since both shows featured leading characters who are women. "DISCOVERY" took it to another level in which its leading character, Commander (formerly Specialist) Michael Burnham, is not only portrayed by an African-American actress, but is not the starship/space station's commanding...

No Anna or Elsa, they're too busy being cash cows
Every time I come back from a hiatus I always do this and since it's been confirmed (in an indirect roundabout kinda way) that Moana will be apart of the lineup, it's as good of a time as any.

12. Moana

There's something about her that's just very forgettable, maybe it's because her movie evokes such apathy in me. Everything about her just screams "perfect modern role model" even more so than princesses like Belle, Poca, Mulan or Tiana and I find her even more "marketable", "manufactored" and obnoxiously flawless than Rapunzel. Even becoming chief feels like some gimmicky "role model" thing, like "look, she's a strong leader". If I was introduced to her when I was younger like the previous princesses maybe I'd like her fine but then again I actually DON'T like Simba either (he bores me) and he has a very similar "becoming leader of my people" arc, and at least his movie, which I don't even love as much as other people, is actually memorable.

So yes, I have had the name for five years. I have always talked about Wind Waker and it being my favorite game ever. And I have talked about it endlessly and why I loved it so much. And even with all the games I have ever played, with all of the games I have experienced and loved, they still never compare. I am aware that they are all better games, technically. Dark Souls has better combat, Resident Evil 4 has more polish, and Metal Gear Solid 3 has a better story. But Wind Waker is different, cause it was the game that came at the right time.
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker follows Link a young cartoon style island boy as he is thrust into an adventure in the hopes of saving the world, not just Hyrule, from Ganondorf who wants to claim the power of the Triforce. Having played Wind Waker before any other Zelda, the whole thing never super shocked me until later on. Hyrule, this majestic kingdom that was saved time and time again by the Hero, was gone. Destroyed. All so Ganondorf couldn’t get his hands on the Triforce. That is… kinda grim for this cute looking game. The cel-shading of Wind Waker looks so beautiful. It’s so much fun to look...

So Metal Gear Solid 2 was a lot of fun, and I only have brief memories of playing the original Metal Gear Solid on PS1… And I never played Metal Gear Solid 4. So that must mean we are limited to one other Metal Gear Solid game. One that has, not Snake, but someone else. That’s right, it’s Metal Gear Solid V: Phan- Okay, even I can’t run that joke into the ground. No, seriously, though, it’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3 takes place in the 1960s, the Cold War is just heating up, and the American hero known as The Boss has betrayed the American people and joined sides with the Russians. You play has The Boss’ apprentice and father to Solid Snake, Naked Snake, later to be known as Big Boss, as you travel through the jungles of Russia, with the help of a mysterious woman named Eve, and see to it that Snake takes care of the high ranked soldiers of The Boss and to stop her from igniting a nuclear war. Also something about the Philosopher's Legacy which is a cluster fuck of it’s own right there. Unlike other Metal Gear Solid games, since you are in the jungles with no way of having any means of survival aside from...

So I was pretty big into the RPG genre when I started to hear about the Shin Megami Tensei games. And when I hear people talk about it, a lot of snobs tell me to go for Nocturne, but some people recommend I try out Persona. I heard about it, and I also heard about some things about it, and I decided to start off with what was considered the most popular, Persona 4. And I loved it!
Persona 4 follows Yu Narukami, the only protagonist so far with a consistent name, as he arrives at the small town of Inaba to stay for a year while his parents are on a business trip. He goes about a normal school life until murders start to happen around town, as well as a mysterious rumor about the Midnight Channel. It’s not long before Yu finds out that the murders and the Midnight Channel are connected due to the victims being thrown into the TV into a dangerous world filled with monsters called Shadows. So, with the help of his friends, Yu has to find the killer and stop the murders to protect the town of Inaba. It’s a game that I was not expecting to put a lot of time in. In case it wasn’t clear before, Persona games have a habit of going from day to...

So he’s an odd thing to just say out of the blue. Silent Hill 2, in regards to writing, is a far better game than Resident Evil 4. In almost every single way, Silent Hill 2 is the superior horror game. But, on a gameplay perspective, on a replayable perspective, Resident Evil 4 is the better game. And it is a game I remember playing when I was a little kid, and found far less scary than the Remake, so I was able to enjoy it far more at that age. So let’s talk about it, shall we?
Resident Evil 4 followed Leon S. Kennedy, a strapping young man who has gotten his first job as the president’s bodyguard to search for his missing daughter, Ashley, in a rural European town. But once he arrives, he finds the town taken over by a parasite found by a dangerous terrorist cult in hopes of taking over the world. What follows his crazy American action, gross monsters, attractive women, and a lot of villagers slaughtered in the hopes of one white girl with palystic stew. Resident Evil 4 is the first in it’s main series to make a massive jump from horror into action, and yet somehow, despite that, it managed to please everyone. I never hear people...

I remember when I was a kid, my older brother had the original Animal Crossing on the Gamecube, and I thought it looked like a babies toy. What is this? This ain’t Smash Melee. Get this outta my face. But now, as someone who got to experience the joy through Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I now understand perfectly. Oh, and also, yes, I did search up Animal Crossing porn for that joke. And it sure as shit wasn’t worth it.
Animal Crossing New Leaf follows the villager, you, as he goes to whatever town you want to call it. Call it Bonerland, call it Fortnite, call it Yabba-Dab, whatever. The town is yours to call whatever. And do whatever, because the second you go in, they just decide to make you the mayor of the town because these fucking peasants haven’t had a leader in god knows how long and give the reins to a person with no political experience or even in the legal limits to be a politician. But of course, why talk about that adult stuff in a kids game? It’s in video game parodies that are unfunny, so let’s move on. As the mayor of the town, you can decide what to do in your town. From change the way the rules are to make the town...

Hey, Rockstar, everyone likes them. Red Dead Redemption 2 was nominated for the best game of 2018, I mean, it lost to God of War but that is to be expected. However, I did not play Red Dead Redemption 2, so that is not on the list. But that’s fine, cause I did play the real classic, and the best game Rockstar made, aside from Skate and Destroy, the original, Red Dead Redemption.
Red Dead Redemption is set in the good old 1910s, and nearing the end of the wild west, as John Marston, a simple young man, is tasked by the government to go on a mission to hunt down his old gang, along with their leader and his old mentor, Dutch, so that he can go back to his life as a family man. And oh boy, do things work out well for John Marston, with absolutely nothing bad ever happening to him. The game, being set in the old west, is not very different with it’s environments aside from a desert and a few towns. It’s not a giant city with a ton to see like say Los Santos in GTA V, but it doesn’t need to be that. Just going down a trail in the dead of night as you make your way to the next town as you listen to the old acoustic guitar and chimes that...

So back when I was talking about Bloodborne on this list, I mentioned how there was one game by FromSoftware that just couldn’t beat this one, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the passed ten years, then you will know that game is Dark Souls, the first one, of course.
Dark Souls is set in the medieval kingdom of Lordran, and you play as the Chosen Undead, one of the many who have been sent to this dying land in a world where people cannot die. Your goal is to collect the souls of the four ancient lords who ruled this land and use them to either rekindle the First Flame and keep the Age of Fire going or let it die and allow the Age of Dark to come and give power to mankind. The world of Dark Souls was the first to usher in what I have been seeing a lot in medieval fantasy games nowadays, that being that they are darker and more gritty. Sure, Dark Souls was inspired by Berserk, but everything is inspired by something, isn’t it? Everything from the destroyed town of the Undead Burg to the creepy atmosphere of the Duke’s Archives to the walking skeletons found in the Tomb of the Giants. And that’s just a few examples. A lot...

It turned out that the mayor was having a meeting with several locals, and he was discussing how he could try to end the disruption. So I played the original NieR some time ago. I liked what I did play, but never got to experience it enough to form a definitive opinion, but man, was that combat not the best. If it was just a little refined, I could like it more… And then Platinum Games came along. And that’s the transition to start talking about NieR: Automata.
So, when it came to the top ten, I thought it would be hard for any game to just break the top ten so easily. Most of my top ten favorite games are games I have cherished memories with. But NieR: Automata, I have no nostalgia for, and yet it managed to break right into the Top Ten, and beat out both Silent Hill 2 and No More Heroes. So let’s talk about why. Taking place in the year 11945, a group of androids known as the YoRHa Unit are fighting a seemingly endless war against a group of machines on the earth to save it for the good of humanity. One of these androids, the fighter 2B and her partner, a young scouter named 9S, go across the ruins of earth in the hopes of salvaging something, and many deaths and many, many tears are experienced throughout the game. Mixing this game with Yoko Taro’s insanely...

Hey, did you guys know I like No More Heroes!? Crazy fact, huh?! Anyway, let’s talk about it for the twentieth fucking time why I love No More Heroes!
No More Heroes follows the tale of a young man named Travis Touchdown, a huge nerd with an figure collection, masterbates to porn all day, and spent all his rent money on a Beam Katana in an online auction. So, in need of money and some sex, Travis takes part in the United Assassin’s Association’s ranked fights in the hopes of becoming number one and getting laid. So, off he goes on a killing spree to take out the ten highest ranked assassins and to become number one. No More Heroes is not the deepest when it comes to character action games. I assure you, this is no Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, but that’s okay. Because No More Heroes is something else entirely. It’s… a game. It has elements of an action game, but also a ton of eight bit mini-games, along with an open world to explore. You aim the Wii Remote up and down depending on what attacks you want. Aiming it up will let Travis perform quick high attacks, and aiming it low will have him perform low, heavy attacks. You can also...

So it is no surprise to anyone that my favorite horror game of all time Silent Hill 2. It’s been that way and it’ll continue to be that way for a long time. But with it’s awkward gameplay and acting, can I really put such a game in my top ten favorite games ever? The answer is yes, and I just did.
Silent Hill 2 follows James Sunderland, an awkward man who arrives to the town of Silent Hill after he receives a letter from his dead wife, Mary. He meets all sorts of other characters there, like Angela, Eddie, and Laura, and a mysterious woman named Maria, and has to get through the town of disturbing monsters alive by any means. Silent Hill 2 is a lot different from something like Resident Evil, at least in the later entries. It’s a lot more quiet, and the enemies don’t even resemble anything human. You have ones that are just walking mounds of skin and flesh, creatures that are a set of legs, and even the ones that do look human are so malformed and twitch violently that you still can’t help but feel disturbed. Everything about the monsters in this game feels so inhuman, and I love everything about that. The environments are also...

To create an environmentally friendly home, you need to think through all the details. When choosing a siding, find out if it can be disposed of and how it protects against external factors. Siding is an important part of your home that should meet your expectations.
For the construction of an eco-house, use link

Does this look familiar?
Hi guys, it's been ages since I haven't written a comparison article and since I'm going to watch The Lion King live-action reboot in July with my younger autistic brother and our dad.

The Story

While the story is original 20%, some of you may not know that The Lion King is loosely based on Shakespeare's "Hamlet: Prince of Denmark". Only this time, the setting was changed from 14th century Denmark to Africa and from humans to animals!
The famous ghost scene in both stories play an essential part of the story, especially in the Lion King. Since Simba needs to assume his responsibilities as King of the Pride Lands, whereas in Hamlet, the title character's father was assassinated by Claudius (Hamlet's uncle) prior to the events of the play.
Finally, the ending is very different from one another, mainly because Disney is well-accustomed to the Happy Ending from previous adaptions of their original fairy-tale endings, Hamlet dies and Fortinbras, prince of Norway succeeded the Danish throne while Simba lives to see his Uncle Scar killed by his allies!

We are going to see Scrooge’s other rival, John D. Rockerduck, Lena's return, a new bestie for Webby, Scrooge and Goldie together again in an episode where Fenton and Gyro will tag along apparently with a new awesome looking WOODEN GIZODUCK SUIT!! Also Bubba's coming and I am so hyped for it.

But more importantly, after the What Happened To Della Duck episode, I can be rest assured that season 2 could be as good or hopeful better than the already beautiful and amazing season 1.

ROSA SCROOGE

PART 1: Greed

Greed is Scrooge's common trait. His life is hard, the reason why the memories are wonderful is because he face through it and earn it and it led him to who becomes, if his life is so hard, how can his memories be so wonderful.

It's because he reached the end of the tunnel. If you read Don Rosa’s comics, Scrooge had to face through a very hard time and when it is over, when victory was in his hands, he got that money.

The first dime is a great example, in every single version of scrooge, he has the first dime. If that memory is bad, why does he keep it? You got your answer.

PART 2: Cheats People

In the three examples you gave, they were all debunked. First of all, in Treasure Under Glass written in 1991, Scrooge did not hit Donald because he was greedy and Donald asked him for a raise. It was because Scrooge saw a picture of Donald was sticking his tongue at him behind his back.

Six weeks had passed. Leila and Greeley were getting ready to go to the New Religion concert. They decided to get dinner before they went to the concert. While they were there, they saw that the members of New Religion had been eating at the restaurant, too. Leila said, "I can't believe it. It's them." Greeley said, "I think we should talk to them." Leila said, "I think so, too." They finished eating, and they walked up to New Religion. Leila said, "Hi, there. We're fans of your music." Erin said, "Hello! That's great. What are your names?" Leila said, "I'm Leila." Greeley said, "And I'm her friend, Greeley." Paul said, "It's certainly nice to meet you." Lola asked, "What are your favorite songs?" Leila said, "I really like 'I Could Have Lied'. It's such a deep and meaningful song." Greeley said, "I like 'Broken and Mended'. I like the powerful lyrics." Carl said, "Great choices." Leila said, "By the way, Paul, I have a dog named after you." Paul said, "I'm flattered. What kind of dog is he?" She said, "According to a DNA test, he is a purebred German Shepherd. What I find strange is that he's blue. Apparently, German Shepherds can be blue." Carl said, "Yes, it's possible. My aunt...

Okay, let’s talk about Fallout. I never played the first two, ut I hear they are all time classics. Fallout 3 was interesting, 4 was okay, and as much as we’d all love to forget about 76, Bethesda fucks up enough to keep it in the everyone’s crossheirs. But I didn’t mention New Vegas, so you know which ones on the list.
New Vegas follows a young man or woman known only as the Courier, who happens to get roped into some bad stuff, involving a fancy dressed man named Benny, voiced by Chandler from Friends. Boy, how will the Courier get outta this one? He won’t. He gets shot in the head, but survives. Turns out, he was holding an important poker chip that could give the holder power over New Vegas and in turn, all of the Mojave. So, you have the choice of aiding the military group NCR, the crazed roman empire The Legion, the intelligent owner of New Vegas Mr. House, or the independent machine Yes Man to change the Mojave how you see fit. The game is a lot more fun to explore than say Fallout 3. 3 just had subways, subways, and more shitty subways. Like a fuck ton of awful fucking subways. Thankfully, there’s nothing like that in the...

So, Mario Galaxy didn’t make my favorite Mario game, I did not play Odyssey, and I think Sunshine is not a fun game, so I guess that only leaves us with one Mario game to top all of them in my eyes. And it’s Hotel Mario, baby!
Hotel Mario follows Mario and Gay Luigi as they go through the seven hotels owned by Bowser in the hopes of saving Princess Peach- Nah, I’m just fucking with you, it’s Super Mario 64. Mario 64 follows Mario as he goes through the different paintings in Peaches castle to stop Gay Bowser and save Peach. Yeah, that sounds like a better plot synopsis. So what makes Mario 64 my favorite, you ask, anyone who hasn’t seen anything on this game. Well, it’s cause it is an all time classic for a multitude of reasons. Being Mario’s first step into the world of 3D gaming, there was a lot they needed to get right, and get right they did. You have a ton of worlds to explore, from Bob-Omb Battlefield, Rainbow Road, Thwomp Castle, Jolly Rogers Bay, Tick Tock Clock, and Boo’s Haunted Mansion or whatever. A ton of worlds with a ton of Stars to collect. You can go through this entire game and miss a bunch of stars, but when...

So, Final Fantasy VI was a good RPG on the SNES. I hear a lot of people say that it is the best. But that can’t be true. Undertale was based on Earthbound, not Final Fantasy VI, so how can it possibly be the best when the best game ever wasn’t inspired by it. Okay, but seriously, this joke is terrible. Here’s Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger takes place in the modern day… of 1999, following Crono, a bright eyed little Akira Toriyama drawn boy who, along with his friends, are send through an adventure across time to stop a space parasite known as Lavos from destroying the world in the future. Their adventure takes them to all sorts of places, from the post-apocalyptic earth in the future, to the Dark Ages of 1000 to the Prehistoric Period with dinosaurs and cave people. The game also introduces you to a ton of fun characters, like Crono’s friends Marle and Lucca, to the knight turned frog humanoid, Frog, the robot in the future creatively named Robo, and the strong cave woman, AKA best girl, Ayla. There is also a secret party member, but spoilers to that for a twenty year old game. The game is a ton of fun to play, from the creative...

Finally! After ten years, I was finally able to beat this game. It took ten years to get through the entire game, but I did it. So yeah, my personal problems aside, Final Fantasy VII is still a good game.
Final Fantasy VII follows Cloud Strife pre-Advent Children emo phase as he joins the rebellious group known as AVALANCHE to stop Shinra from draining the earth of Mako energy that keeps it alive. But this soon turns into something more as they get involved with mama’s boy Sephiroth who wants to gain the earth’s energy to gain the power of a god and destroy the earth for… raisins. Also a race of Ancients are involved. The usual stuff really. This was my first entry into the Final Fantasy series and ever since, it is still my favorite in the franchise. I remember being so invested in the world thanks to the characters and the music. Final Fantasy has a great cast of characters, from Tifa to Barret to Yuffie to Cid and Cait Sith can go die in a hole. But aside from that one, the party is full of some classic characters. The battle system is also a ton of fun. I remember playing this and thinking, “Wait, what? I gotta wait to make a...

So when the PS4 finally came out, my funds were not nearly enough to just go out and buy one right away, which I was a little upset over, but whatever. But when I did get it, one game always stood out from the rest. One game that I wanted to try more than any other game for the system, and that game was known only as Bloodborne.
Bloodborne takes place in the fictional Victorian town of Yharnam, where you play as a hunter on the Night of the Hunt, where the town is filled with monsters and crazed hunters out for blood. It starts out with hunting werewolves and witches, but it isn’t long before you are hunting down ancient Lovecraftian gods and have to fend them off to end the Hunts for good. I plan on doing a big analysis on this games writing and atmosphere in a future Corner of Horror article, but for now, let’s talk about this game. It’s hard. It’s real hard. But it is very rewarding. Unlike its predecessor, Dark Souls, which is slow and more focused on blocking, Bloodborne is fast, aggressive, and forces you to dodge to avoid death. If you aren’t careful, even the weakest, low level enemies can be the death of you. I knew this...

So I was never too big into sports, and in short, I was never too big into sports games. I have minor understanding of basketball, but only cause my brothers are fans, I never understood the appeal of football, and I think I won’t offend anyone when I say soccer is boring. But I was really interested in the art of skateboarding… until it died and no one cared anymore… The game is Tony Hawk’s Underground.
Tony Hawk’s Underground starts in good ol’ Shithole, New Jersey, where you play as a skater with huge ambitions to be a pro skater, not for money, not for fame, but for the fun of it. And if you’re wondering why I’m talking about this shit in a Tony Hawk game, it’s because Tony Hawk’s Underground actually has a story mode. And it’s pretty good. Well, not amazing, but I love going through it a hundred times for the fun of it. You gotta run from drug dealers, travel to Florida, and then, join a skating team in the hopes of going to San Diego, Hawaii, Vancouver, and Moscow just so you can have a chance at getting a career in skateboarding. One of the features that Underground introduces, aside from a story mode, is that you...

So, Persona 3 was a good game, and then Persona 4 came out and it was even better, and then we all wondered what sort of thing Persona 5 would be. And then we had to wait… for a long time. And I mean a looooooooooooooooooooooong time. But boy, let me tell you, when it finally came to grace the west, we were not expecting something like this, and we loved every second of it.
Persona 5 follows Ren Amamiya Pizza Pasta Mama Mia, or as fans prefer to call him, Akira, as he is sent to live with his guardian in Tokyo after being blamed for assaulting the Prime Minister, and is forced to experience all sorts of oppresive dick heads in Japan, like abusive teachers, scummy celebrities, crime bosses, and a terrible boss fight. With the help of a cast of friends from a model, a punk, a talking cat, a painter, a class president, a rich girl, and a shut in, they team up to go against their oppressors and change the world for the better by becoming the masked group, the Phantom Thieves. Now already, I was interested in this style from the get go, because man, that menu screen is flashy as hell and I love it so much. But then, when I saw the story we had...

Despite being a huge baby when I was a kid, there were few horror games or movies that scared me. I was mostly scared by trivial things, like the boulder in Crash Bandicoot or the PS1 startup screen. I was never really scared of anything horror related… Resident Evil Remake was that one exception.
Being worked from the ground up to reimagine the original game and make it even more stunning, the game follows the S.T.A.R.S. team as they go into the mountains to investigate mysterious murders. There, they find a mansion full of zombies and monsters and now must survive to uncover the truth being all of this. You can play as two major characters of the franchise, Jill Valentine, the master of unlocking, and Chris Redfield, the boulder puncher himself. They both have their own unique traits, like how Jill can carry more items and pick locks while Chris has more health and always has a lighter on hand. Each playthrough is different, and not just from the perspective of the characters. You have different teammates helping you, and scenarios will change depending on who you are. Like the piano, Jill can play it perfectly, but Chris will need...

Here we are, the fourth Zelda game on this list and one that I have heard many people call one of the best from their childhood, and while I didn’t get a chance to play it until much later in my life, when I did play it, I can definitely see why this one was considered a classic by many at the time. Cause damn, Twilight Princess is something else.
Twilight Princess follows Link as he goes on a quest to search items dropped by the gods of the kingdom, and then later, shards of the Mirror of Twilight, to stop the evil king Zant and something about Ganondorf, because he can just never leave well enough alone. One thing that a lot of people talked about in Twilight Princess was the darker atmosphere. People said that Wind Waker was too much of a cartoony kids game and hated it as a result, so Nintendo made Twilight Princess a more serious game. And people hated it cause it was too dark (Goddamnit). But personally, I loved it a lot. The areas you explore are a lot more interesting to me now, from the almost western style of Kakariko Village to the very busy Hyrule Castle Town, all areas in the world seem to have more life in them than in...

So today we are talking a "movie" from 1987.

Staring Nicholas Cage at his "cagiest", this is a very bizzare fiilm, that my cousin and I watched while drunk. Cause like The Room, that is the only way TOO watch this film.. Still a better vampire film than Twilight though.

I read somewhere the point of this was, Cage and director seeing how much can they get away with until someone says to stop.

link

Guess we should talk about the plot..

Peter Lowe is a young literary agent whose life revolves around business and decadence. During one of his many ne-night stands, Peter's apartment is invaded by a bat and he later admits to his therapist it gave him an erecton, though he doesn't know why.

Thoughout the film Peter also mistreats his secertary Alva. Obsessing over a missing file.

Eventually Pete gets biteen by a vampire (if it was even real). And becomes crazier than usual.

When Björk’s album Vespertine was released in 2001, it came as a bombshell. The singer, who up to then could reliably be found in the Electronic & Dance section, had turned away from the usual Drum & Bass sound and towards complex orchestral music. On Vespertine, choirs and violins murmured and Björk’s unique voice became the starting point for symphonic outbreaks and absences. So, it seemed to be only a matter of time until a classical music genre would discover this particular jewel.

When the Nationaltheater Mannheim decided to work more closely with pop music – the most vibrant style of music today, which is (almost) never heard at an opera house – Björk’s Vespertine with its very new way of approaching pop music seemed to be the perfect fit for this border-crossing project.

Vespertine is all about a great love that is just starting, with the desire for total union, and at the same time the fear of losing your independence in it. But to identify a specific plot in it seemed the wrong approach, so the Nationaltheater Mannheim chose a team of directors capable of thinking in images – the Danish direction team Hotel Pro Forma.
