She walks towards him as she tells him she’s in college, making a life for herself and kisses him. Then the pair hook-up right there in the woods. I personally feel the hook-up of Caroline and Klaus was a complete fan service and really makes Caroline out to be a total hypocrite. She can sleep with Klaus, but Damon is too awful for her best friend to date.
