The most eagerly anticipated single of the year (well, for us) has finally been given a release date and it\'s time to hit the Code Red emergency button RIGHT NOW, because we haven\'t been given nearly enough to get our thoughts in order.

Everyone knows Zayn Malik has been chilling in the woods, jotting down a bunch of lyrics and melodies to eventually bless our ears with, but what we hadn\'t realised is that we\'d be getting a brand new single, titled \'Pillowtalk\' on Friday the 29th.

As in, next week. As in, Zayn has literally no chill and is just going to drop the thing with minimal promo. Well, apart from the Graham Norton show, obviously.

He announced all the details to The Sunday Times, where he shared that the song is "so pure, so dirty and raw" and that the topic apparently being "pretty black and white about what it\'s about." AKA, sex.

Confirming that the single is very much about actual pillowtalk rather than some clever metaphor, he continued: "Everybody has sex, and it\'s something people want hear about. It\'s part of everybody\'s life, a very BIG part of life! And you don\'t want to sweep it under the carpet. It has to be talked about."
