Following that rather awkward meeting with Harry Styles on the red carpet at the AMAs over the weekend, it was pretty interesting to see all those pics of Gigi Hadid then leaving the after party with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.

But it appears that whatever is going on between the two has been heating right up and according to both the reports and some long-lens paparazzi photos that have popped up on social media, they\'ve also been making trouble up in hotel rooms, if you get our drift.

Spotted hanging out twice in the last couple of days over in LA, The Sun report that the pair spent two nights together at the Bowery Hotel in New York last week. 

Now some pics have started circulating on Twitter - pics that show Zayn and Gigi relaxing on a bed and messing about on Zayn\'s phone, supposedly in a room on the seventh floor of the hotel in question.

You know us, we\'re never ones to jump to ludicrous conclusions (ahem), so we\'ve come up with a few alternative theories as to what they were actually getting up to. Theories that don\'t involve them actually being a couple and shattering all our hopes and dreams in the process.

Actually it seems more likely that the Bradford Bad Boi was teaching Gigi how to do a model strut but how bloody brilliant would it be if it turned out they were actually just working on some sort of designer underwear campaign together? We\'re thinking Victoria\'s Secret with them both in matching black and silver feathered VS Angel wings. 

Does those looks of intense interest and sheer joy on their faces look familiar? It should because frankly they are probably only ever experienced when reading notable entertainment website Sugarscape.com. 

Well you couldn\'t blame Zayn for being a bit jeals he missed out on the change to pose against the Manhattan skyline in an artsy vid. Presumably he played Louis while Gigi was Niall.
