actress Gage Golightly has taken to Instagram to DENY claims that it\'s her who\'s pouting up a storm with a shirtless Zayn Malik wrapped around her face in his latest Instagram photo. WHAT. So who the eff is it then?

Gage was bombarded with comments (and probably a whole lotta hate) this weekend, when the Z-Team started speculating that she was the anonymous Perrie lookalike who Zayn had his naked bod draped over in his edgy selfie.

BUT IT\'S NOT HER, so that\'s confusing and for once, the Directioner detective skills are failing the fandom. Sacre bleu.

After her name started getting chucked around left, right and centre, Gage has been quick to shut down the rumours that she and Zayn have been getting the naked kind of cosy, explicitly stating on Instagram that she\'s unfortunately not the "lucky girl" in question.

"Hi everyone", Gage wrote in a text post. "Just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik. But what a lucky girl! Love y\'all", along with three kissy face emojis.

Oh. Back to the drawing board then, everyone. One blonde down, probably around four billion more to eliminate until we discover the true identity of the Mystery Malik Female.

And then there\'s the possibility that it\'s a wig so really we\'ve got the entire world population to sift through.

Thanks for clearing that one up though, Gagey. It really is quite handy when celebs deal with speculation like this, and we \'spose this simultaneously shuts down those Neelam Gill romance rumours too.
