Seraphs laughed as Fang and an Eraser stood behind him. The two boys joined in laughter as the burning Gotham City Bank collapsed to the ground.
“That’s how you set fire to Gotham.” Seraphs cackle traveled through the empty Gotham Streets. “Fang, how long before the cops arrive?”
“3:00 minutes minimum.” Fang snapped his head to the right. “They’re heading in from district 54. 4 cop cars, and a swat team.” The blare of a siren promised the boys arrest, panicking they sprinted down the street, jumping over trashcans, and dodging light poles. The trio ran faster as bullets whizzed past them, leaving the lingering smell of hot metal in the air. Seraphs turned right and ran up a fire escape the two boys following along.
“SORRY OLD MEN! TRY AGAIN!” All three boys laughed at Seraphs harassed the police from the rooftops. “Fang, rob her blind. Now!” Seraphs pointed to the lady walking down the street. Fang leapt off the building and onto the street following the lady, he reached down into her purse snatching her wallet, and phone. Fang turned and ran back to the building.
“Good Boy.” Seraphs patted Fang’s head, “you snatched all her credit cards and $400. Not bad for your first time. Of course, you’re ten, and your older sister just died.” Fang winced as the reminder of his sister’s death filled his mind. “We should do this another time kid.” Seraphs ruffled Fang’s hair and leapt off the building out of sight.

"Sir, the cloning failed. And now the girl is fully trusted by the others. There is no possible way to-"
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
"Don't forget, she has begun dating the silver boy."
"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"
"Sir?"
"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
