‘Phase one, complete. On to phase two!’ I thought
I grabbed a really full glass of water and walked over to Wally.
“Water? You must be thirsty from running all the way here from…where were you again?” I asked. Behind Wally, Artemis was making gagging motions
“I was in Star City” he said matter-of-factly
“Wow. That’s far for a person to run” I laid the flattery on pretty thick. I offered him the water, spilling it on his shirt. That was not part of the plan. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Megan and Robin laughing slightly. I closed the gates of my mind. I looked at my hands....

”You, mortals, how did you get up here?” Hades commanded while Athena seemed to be figuring out a strategy to get rid of them.
”Oh brother, don’t be so dramatic. I allowed them here” said another new voice
”Zeus? You let them up here?” I asked, thoroughly confused.
”It was either them or a Scythian drakon. I know a drakon wouldn’t have done much harm, but we’re still re-furbishing so it would have set back the process by a month or 2” he confessed
”Sarah!” they all yelled. Well except for Super boy, but the look on his face showed his relief.

"Win again!" Artemis cheered as she bet Wally at a game of chess. Wally sighed. Artemis gave him another punch.
"Your cheating!" Wally shouted. Artemis put her hands on her hips.
"Why would you think that?" Wally pointed at Robin at far end of the room.
"Wally! Don't be so stupid!" Artemis replied. Wally angrily glared at Artemis.
"Stop helping her Robs!" Wally said as he ran up to him. Robin looked up from his phone.
"I'm not helping her!" Wally snatched Robin's phone and held it up in the air.
"Hey!" Robin tried to grab his phone off Wally but he was too fast.
"I'm so close to beating my high...

Beep! Beep! Beep!
Artemis shot right up from her bed and hit the alarm clock with her right hand and smashed it to pieces.
Red Arrow stood outside her open bedroom door looking at the pieces of the alarm clock on the floor.
"What are you looking at?" inturupted Artemis as she got out of bed. Roy looked at her questioningly. Artemis shoved Roy as she got out of her room.
"Hey!" Roy said in a high voice. "What's your problem?" Artemis stopped at the edge of the stairs. She sighed and replied,
"Sorry. I guess I'm still mad at Wally!" Roy walked up to her.
"Rough night." The two archers began walking...

Chapter 13-


"Nightwing?" 

"Report Wondergirl." 

"Batgirl isn't responding."

Dick cursed under his breath.

"Knowing Batgirl, she's probably touring the sites." 

"But Batgirl seems so, into the missions." Wondergirl replied.

"Give her until morning before we start worrying." Nightwing said.



Revenge staggered.

"What?" Batgirl asked.

"The oxygen..." Revenge gasped. "We're heading the wrong way."

Barbara didn't notice any lack of oxygen. Not until she walked a few feet in front of her. It was as if she had passed through a barrier. Oxygen was depleted.

Serepta walked into the core of headquarters. She typed in several commands, leaning over the desk. Several images appeared on the huge screen. She smirked. I warned them before. Don't mess with me. Foolish heroes.
“Who to see to first?”
Serepta tapped her fingers on the desk.
“Looking fabulous today, aren't we?”
Serepta smirked over at her boyfriend. Usual flirt that he was. He was good at it too. Just loved to flirt with himself.
“And who would you be talking to?” Serepta asked, crossing her legs seductively.
“You of course. I already know I look good.”

"How long?" Nathan asked Fin, hand in hers. They were resting on the beach, surrounded by the sparkling ocean reflecting the sunrise. When they'd returned, Batman was not pleased, to say the very least, that the jet was crashed somewhere in the Arctic, but he was glad to know that they were safe. Nathan had whisked Fin away to a place they could talk about everything that had happened between them and what it might have done to their hearts. In the cold, everything was at a risk.

Said leader stopped her dancing, turning to her technician and helper.
“Thanks Melody. Before you go, take my weapons. Just in case. Please.”
