Young Justice Article: Cause of Death: chap 1 The Mask Maker

A young girl wakes up, against a metal wall, room rocking and smells of the ocean, she relies shes on a ship. With her weary eyes, she looks up and sees and work bench and a masked man spreading out some tools upon a tray. She panics and looks around her, she sees stairs a few meters away. She stands slowly and begins to creep towards the stairs. Then, the floor creaks! The masked man turns around a syringe in his right hand. She screams and runs up the stairs, the masked man follows. The girl arrives at the deck rain pours down at her, thundering noises strike. The man comes from behind her. He takes hold of her arm tightly and jerks it from her, then a slight cracking noise like twigs snapping followed.
"No more running" he replies.
"Please don't hurt me! I'll give you want ever you want!" she drops to her knees, and the man lets go, tears run down her cheeks and her red hair was soaked with water.
"Yes, yes you will" the masked man grabs her neck and injects the syringe in. The girl screams and struggles but tends to grow weak and finally, lay unconscious but alive. He carries her back down the stairs and lays her on the bench.
"Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, Sophie" the man picks up a knife. Sophie struggles to speak but replies, "How do you know my name?"
"Shhhh" the man puts his finger on her lips. Sophie tries to move her hand but her arm doesn't respond! "I'm just going to show the world your true face" he dips the knife in a white liquid and spreads it upon her face but leaving the eyes free but everything else trapped underneath. She struggles to breath, mmmm noises coming from under the hard plaster. Seconds later, she stops and the man looks down and knows that shes dead. Then a striking sound comes from above the man and a yellow and red figure runs past him and grabs the knife. The figure stops at the stairs, his eyes locked at Sophie.
"Dude! You must have really hated her face!" the masked man stares at the hero.
"Well KidFlash, nice of you to join the party. Sorry but your late"
"This is not the kind of parties I'm into" he moves his stare to the villain. "That's horrid!"
"Too Bad. It was real fun. But now that its over I guess you have to take me to jail" KF steps towards the man.
"Hmmm there's something fishy about this situation. Bad guys like you don't just give up"
"Oh those are guys who think they can beat the mighty KidFlash! And I can't beat him! Hes sooo strong plus fast" KF smiles.
"Flattering!" KF takes a pair of handcuffs shows it to the man. "Well you know what to do" the man says nothing and raises his arms in front of him. KF opens the cuffs.
"Your actually not a bad guy I mean-"
BOOM!
The man shoots Wally in his chest. KF didn't notice the the small gun in the mans hand. KF drops to the ground, his hand over his patch of blood. His head spins then total darkness fades on him.
The Masked man carries Wally up onto the deck and over to the edge.
"You shouldn't of attended the party..." his voice fades and he drops KF into the freezing, deep ocean.

ecoelo This kind of related to a game I played and yes the picture is from the game too. If you hav played cause of death you probably know what happens. But you won't know who is the mask maker. I hope you enjoyed it! (i'm cutting the story shorter because the game is way too long and I cant keep up with who should be who so I might remove some things)

Here's what I have so far:

Violet, Blaze and Peyton. All fallen villains because of Nudge and the Young Justice team. But when a new powerful villain rises to power, they take their vengeance. A trip to Hell (literally) takes the toll on the Young Justice when someone doesn't come back. But who is it? Trusts are broken, friendships formed, powers come and go, and people dissapear. What will the team become? Will they break apart? Or will they bond closer than they've ever been before? Find out in the new story called "Revenge of Abate"

Willow gasped in pain rolling up her tight sleeve showing a number of floor burns, " access Captain Atom.." Amazo said pointing his arm at Willow with a humming noise of the beam about to shoot, Wally scooped her up and ran past Amazo just in time.
