This is my 1st fanfic ever! I hope you like it!
Her breathes were gasps as she raced through the near abandoned streets of Gotham City. The rain soaked her clothes; the puddles splashed as she ran through them. The pack on her back felt heavy as she cut through an alley. A man exiting a bar cursed as she passed, nearly knocking his drunk ass to the ground. More curses followed as her persuers rushed pass him.
They were gaining much too quickly for her liking. She could have easily out run them if it wasn't for the STUPID pack! She considered ditching it in the gutter, but dismissed the idea. No way was she giving up her prize. She would just have to find an escape route.
She entered another alley that led to a dead end, but she never slowed. The girl jumped atop the hood of a parked van, then its roof. From there, she scrammbled up the brick wall the van was parked next to and hauled hereself onto the roof of the building. Curses were yelled up at her as her putsuers saw her escape.
She slowed her pace slightly to catch her breath, but soon shot back into a sprint, knowing they would be back on her tail in a moment. She easily leapt across the roofs of small office buildings and apartment complexes. The girl knew of a safe place were she could hide, and it was only a few blocks north. She felt freedom at her fingertips. That was, until a shot rang through the air.
She jumped desperately onto a lower ledge, but due to the combination of slippery rain and speed, she missed her footing and rolled to her knees. She began to get up before the clap of a bullet sliding into place sounded behind her.
The young girl stood up slowly, biting back a yelp as needles of pain jot through her ankle. Landing out of balance had caused her to sprain her ankle. Putting all her wait on her other foot and her hands in the air, she turned slowly.
A man clad in security gaurd's armor held a pistol at eyes level. She could see the glinting teeth of his satisfied grin in the moonlight.
"You're in a lot of trouble, missy. Give me the weapon," he commanded through pants. He was just as out of breath as she was. He was far bigger than she was and had a GUN. She only saw one way out of this.
"Go to hell," she retorted. He chuckled at her resistance. Rain stilled poured around them, dark clouds hiding the moon, keeping the shadows deep around them. Another guard joined his companion. In a moment she would be overwhelmed.
"This is a waist of time," his partner said, "We're the ones with the guns. Just give it to us."
"Make me," she taunted.
"Fine," the first guard growled. He advanced, lowering his weapon. Counting his steps in her head, the girl reached twenty and launched a kick at the guard. Her boot connected with his wrist, causing him to drop the gun. Lightning fast, she kicked him in the gut, and he doubled over. Ignoring the pounding in her ankle, she shifted her wieght and brought the butt of her rigging knife on his head. He dropped with a sickening crunch.
The second guard charged at her. She edged aside at the last moment, grabbed the gaurd's arm, and used the his momentum to flip him onto his back. He groaned but didn't get up. She raised her hands in a ready position, rigging knife in one hand, but froze when she realized the rest of here gaurds arrived. 6 guns were pointed right at her.
Fear gripped her insides. 6 to 1 was totally unfair.
"Howdy," someone yelled from the shadows. The gaurds and the girl turned. A blur sped passed them, leaving 6 astonished gaurds staring at thier empty hands. Three small objects whizzed past the girl's ear. They struck the ground right in front of the gaurds. Gas sprayed from them, enveloping them in a cloud. She herd the gasps of the gaurds as someone grabbed her arm.
She whirled around, slicing her knife downward. A strong hand gripped her wrist, stopping her. She looked up in astonishment to meet the black mask of Boy Wonder, a hero she had seen on the news a hundred times. He looked sternly at her.
"You have to come with us," he said. She nodded numbly. A boy with flaming red hair with a lightning bolt on his chest appeared in a blur next to Robin. He dropped the guns in a pile. He flashed a mischevious grin as the girl gapped at the pile.
"Hi," he said, laughter in his voice. For some reason, his amusement annoyed her. Shouts erupted behind them as the smoke began to dissipate.
"Time to go," Robin said. The girl was confused by his remark. Where were they going? The gaurds would have the building surrounded by now. There was no escape except for... She looked up and detected a shimmer in the air.
"What's your name?" Kid Flash asked. He was hooking a purple line onto his belt
Aryess, She almost said before remembering she was wearing the bandana that served as her mask. "Silver," she said instead. "Silver Wings."
"Alright, Silver Wings," said Robin. He had a line clipped to his belt as well. "Hold on tight." He pulled her closed by the waist and tugged on the line. She wrapped her arm around his neck and held tight as she was whisked upward to the ghost ship. Yells and curses were exchanged below as the gaurds saw her escape with the Weapon.
Sorry there aren't any OCs in this one! I'm just a by more familiar with the original Team. I would love to write about the others if you guys don't mind lending me a hand (bios maybe). Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanx!

A little head stron,
I was bitter,
I always wondered what was wrong with me,
Chorus:
It will always be like this forever.
Forever and ever with-a no lover,
I guess we could say i just wasnt made to love!
Forever an' ever,
I just wasnt made to love!
(end of chorus)
I never fell in love,
Just crushes along the years,
I aint scared of much,
But i gues love is something i'm scared of,I fear!
Everybodys asked if i've ever been in love,
Buts love just wasnt meant for me.
Can't you tell,
WHy dont you see?
Chorus
Everbody tells me i'm lying,
Bu I know the truth,
I dont need no slueth to tell me,
Why doesnt anyone believe?
Chorus
Love want meant for me!

"No, no, no, no!" Revenge said, wiping up the blood with his gloves. There was too much
on the floor. Too much had been lost. The sword that had done the damage was laying
over to the side. Revenge tried to pick it up, but his strength had left him. It clattered
to the floor beside him as he sank to his knees, the unbearable pain filling his
body and mind.
