This is quite a cliff-hanger if I do say so myself. I am working on Chapter Four now!




Chapter Three-

Wreckage of the Titanic, Atlantic Ocean
22:34 EST, June 3


The tank hit the hulk and exploded. The dinosaur man was tossed, alongside me, into the abyss.

I heard several people screaming my name. I tapped the holoscreens on my wrist and the Team quieted down. I walked over to WhiteStar and upholstered my gun, pointing it at his head.

"You destroyed me, now I'm going to destroy you." I said.

"Titaness! No!" I heard Robin yell. He was attempting to come after me. Aqualad stopped him.

"No, Robin. It is her decision now." the warrior said in his usual grave, serious, calm voice.

My finger hesitated above the trigger. An alert beeped in my suit.

"Oxygen now depleted." the computer voice said into my ear.

"Now or Never." I muttered.



London, England
17:34 GMT, February 13, 1912

I walked away from the gravesite. I couldn't stand to spend another minute there. The black clothes, the rainy weather, and the memory of everything was just too much for me to handle.

Alex slipped his arm around my shoulder, trying to comfort me, but it wasn't working. He too was dressed in black. He called for a cab and we rode home in silence.

As we rode, the memory kept flooding back. I couldn't help it as silent tears flooded my face.


1 Week Before...


"Tiana!" my father had scolded me. I was, once again, running around the construction site as merry as could be. My father couldn't understand how I had turned out to be such a tomboy.

He finally got me to come to him.

"Tiana." he said. "This is extremely dangerous. It's even more dangerous now."

I raised an inquiring eyebrow, but he ignored me.

"I don't want you getting hurt again. Stay away from the Titanic."

I opened my mouth to protest, but my father held up his hand. I sighed and nodded.

"Yes, sir." I said.

My father slightly grinned. An expression I had t seen from him in a while.

"Go home and run around all you want." he said.

I grinned and dashed off.

I almost ran into James Hauds.

"Well excuse me, Missy." he said rudely and elbowed me as he walked by.

I stuck my tongue out at him and dashed toward the house.


Later that night I returned to the Titanic looking for dad. He hadn't come home on time. I wasn't worried, he usually was late since he started working on the Titanic. However, with the recent events around the Titanic, I didn't want to take any chances.

I searched around. All the lights were off except for a few on the Titanic were some workers were polishing up the guest rooms. The Titanic sailed in two months and all that was left to do was to finish the interior.

I had searched for about half an hour when I heard a scuffle going on near the offices. I ran towards them to see a guy in all black running out of my dad's office.

I panicked. I ran inside to see dad laying on the floor, his chest covered in blood.

"Dad!" I yelled. I ran over to him and lifted his head. I didn't hear him breathing. I checked for a pulse, he didn't have one.

"No! No! No!" I had yelled in anguish. "Someone help!!!"

The Titanic was too far away. No one heard me. No one found us until the next morning. Alex was looking for me when I hadn't met him for breakfast. He found me laying over dad's body cradling his head and crying.


The only one who didn't seem upset at this violent murder was James Hauds. Naturally, he had hated dad in life. Also, he had taken dad's position in the project.

This only elevated my hatred towards the man, but I couldnt do anything about it. I had to worry about keeping our house and everything in it. Alex offered to give money, but I refused. I couldn't let him do that.


WhiteStar Lines, Ireland
00:00 GMT April 11, 1912

I snuck into Hauds's office. I was determined to prove he had been in the plot to murder dad. If he wasn't the one who had done the act. I pulled out papers and scanned the room. I was about to leave when I tripped over a blueprint with red markings on it. I picked it up and looked at it.

In the corner of the blueprint, Hauds's messy handwriting had written "Biggest marine massacre ever. 2,000+ dead/drowned. Blow boilers, destroy lifeboats."

I gasped and stumbled back, dropping the blueprint.

He was going to blow up the Titanic!
