Chapter Fourteen-
Mount Justice
15:23 EDT December 23,
Wally was the last person Artemis expected to see sitting by her bedside next to the Boy Wonder with a worried look on his face.
She groaned and turned over, startling Wally and Robin.
"You're okay!" Wally exclaimed.
Artemis sat up in the bed. "What happened?" she asked groggily, then started panicking. "Where's mom? Is she okay? What-"
Robin held up a hand. "Your mom is okay. Batman took her home and made sure she was safe."
Artemis relaxed in the bed.
"Robin, report to the Batcave." A computerized voice said over the loudspeakers. Robin left the room for the zeta-tubes.
Wally looked sympathetically at Artemis.
"Wally, I'm sorry I didn't tell you that Cheshire was my sister or that I worked for the shadows. I was afraid-"
"-We'd kick you off." Wally finished. "Can't blame you for taking that opinion, especially the way I treated you."
"And I you." Artemis said.
Wally stuck out his hand. "Friends?" he asked.
"Friends." Artemis said, shaking his hand.
"So what else do I not know about you?" Wally asked. "You might as well tell me everything."
"Well, for starters, my dad is..."

Mount Justice
4:23 EDT December 25
Artemis yawned and walked into the room. "Ever heard of sleep-"
She stopped at the sight of the huge tree and all the presents underneath.
"-ing?"
Artemis walked over and plopped down, looking at all the stacked presents and the wrapping paper on the floor. "How long have you guys been up?"
"An hour." Wally said, blurring in from the kitchen with an arm full of food. His foot slipped on a piece of wrapping paper and he fell flat on his back, the food landing all over him.
Artemis laughed.
"That is so not funny." Wally said, whipping Cheetos off his chest.
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
"Oh boy." Robin said face palming himself. "Here we go again."
THE END!

THE END!
"You never want to do anything amigo!" Jaimie exclaimed. "Why did you even join the Team?"
"The purpose is gone now." Revenge said, turning away. "If you want me to leave, I will after this mission."
Jaimie stood shell-shocked. "Hombre, I didn't mean--"
"Save it, Jaimie." Revenge said. "Nightwing has a debriefing to do. I've got lives to protect."
The Black Hero jumped the building and was gone.

"How did you come by the information?"
"Private communication with Holly."
"She's still serving our purposes?"
"Yes."

Epilogue-
2 weeks later...
Artemis landed on the rooftop, bow drawn.
"Relax, it's me." Revenge said, emerging from the shadows.
Artemis cocked her head, but didn't let go of her bow OR arrow. "What do you want Revenge?"
"I've changed my mind." Revenge said. "I'll join the Team on one condition."
"What condition?" Artemis asked.
"You listen to what I have to say."
------------------------------------------------------
"Assassin."
"Master."
Cheshire bowed before Ra's Al Ghul.
"Your mission was a success?"
"Yes master." Cheshire handed her leader a disc which he inserted into a computer. "Holly's true loyalties were proven."
The screen behind Ra's Al Ghul lit up revealing a familiar face.
"And another of the "heroe's" identities belongs to...the Light."

Revenge stumbled away. The woman looked at the needle in her hand. The blood within was mixed with a strange brown mixture. Revenge gripped his arm and glared at the woman.
"A simple test will tell me who is beneath the mask, Red Revenge. And your secret will belong to me."
"Not likely." Revenge growled.
"Oh, but that's not all it does." she continued. "It poisons the blood stream. Corrupts the DNA within cells and eventually kills them."
"Nerve gas."
"In a liquid form, yes Red Revenge."
